Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Claims, you shall be responsible to

• Manage all lines of claims including and not limited to WICA, Motor, P&C.
• To ensure accurate and prompt claims processing within stipulated turnaround time
• Access policy liability, compute and determine claims amount payable based on policy cover and in accordance to management guidelines
• Handle phone and email enquiries and attend to walk-in policyholders / claimants in relations to claims and payment status in accordance with Company procedures
• Study claims history and highlight to Superior on any abnormalities or repeated complaints
• Cross-collaboration with other departments internally
• Liaise with all stakeholders, including service providers, intermediaries and partners
• Contribute to roundtable discussions for new products developments and suggestions to implement procedures for claims handling to create a better/positive customer experience
• Active involvement in reviewing existing work processes to streamline and improve operational efficiency and implementing new work processes/system
• Any ad-hoc duties when assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree with General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI and HI) certificates
• At least 1 year of hands-on claims assessment and handling experience. Experience in work injury claims is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good analytical and decision making skills, meticulous with attention to details
