A Research Assistant position is currently available in the Temasek Laboratories@NTU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize the slurry formulations for 3D printing.
• Scale up the printed ceramic dimensions and tackle the potential challenges
• Improve the material properties to fulfill design requirement
• Draft technical report and manuscript for publication
• Mentor PhD/FYP students

Job Requirements:

• Minimally Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering with 2nd upper honors
• At least 1 year’s relevant experience in material research. Work experience in ceramic processing is preferred
• Experience in 3D printing of materials and using SolidWork or other digital model building software is preferred
• Excellent academic record
• Preferably with published 1-2 peer-reviewed papers
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent teamwork awareness
• Good communication and writing in English
• Self-motivation, strong responsibility for research/ work
