• Perform, document internal audits and other quality assurance activities to ensure readiness on international standards certification audits and GMP inspection.
• Create, review work instructions and standard operating procedures, devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
• Communicating with other team members to solve problems.
• Conduct / perform training to employees to improve GMP / international standards certification awareness and compliance.
• Other duties as and when assigned by management.

Overall Role:

• To deliver client service through the day-to-day administration and data entry of Aviation & Marine lines of reinsurance business relating to the placement, servicing & documentation. Ensuring placements maintain local compliance, regulatory and quality practice standards. Provide administrative support to the Aviation & Marine brokers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare slips, and endorsements.
• To obtain information to produce market presentations.
• Accuracy and completeness of documents on file (Placement Slips, Cover notes, Signed Slips and Endorsements).
• Excellent relationship management with internal and external parties.
• Maintain records of market negotiations informing client and keeping colleagues informed.
• Prompt reply from reinsurers and sending addendums to cedant.
• Data Entry into Broking system (Netreibs).
• Arranging trip meetings for brokers with clients and reinsurers.
• Handle reconciliation enquiries from Claims and Credit Control team.

Generic Knowledge and Skills:

• Overall reinsurance market knowledge.
• Basic Underwriting knowledge.
• Broking knowledge (minimum 3 years of Reinsurance broking support experience, preferably in Aviation and/or Marine).
• Technical knowledge.
• Various classes of insurance as commonly demanded within client markets.
• Various market practices within client markets
• IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Client Servicing

UIB Knowledge and Skills:

• Netreibs (Broking System).
• Certification in General Insurance (CGI)
