RESPONSIBILITIES

As Transhipment Executive, Export you will join a dynamic team to handle all transhipment containers (laden+ empty) in Singapore. You will also have the opportunity to work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network.

Reporting to the Senior Transhipment Executive, Export Team Lead, your main responsibility is to manage the coordination, tallying-up and consolidation of loading figures per export vessel for presentation to the Regional Operation and Capacity Team for ship planning and ensuring all S.E.A Ports loads within their given allocation.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all transhipment containers discharging from 1st carriers are declared accurately and timely in Portnet system and loaded onto correct connecting carriers;
• Preparation of Loading Summary for Asia Regional Office, including full details of export-carriers, ports of loadings, total TEUs / weight for stowage-planning purposes;
• Arrange to "roll out" excessive cargoes in close liaison with Asia Regional Office and Load Ports in the event of vessel full situation;
• Arrange 3rd party feeder space for destinations not served by our vessels or when our vessels' space is full;
• Ensure timely receipt of "Rollover List" or "Shut-Out List", as well as VIP List for containers to be protected;
• Ensure timely receipt of manifest from Import Documentation Department / Load Port for all vessels discharging in Singapore;
• Application for loading of Dangerous Goods (DG) / IMO cargoes with MSC DG Medlog Department;
• Preparation of DG List, Reefer and Exceptional List for Master of vessels;
• Send out Rollover Advise' to all Port of Origins, Load and Discharging Ports in the event of a rollover situation;
• Preparation of Daily Transhipment Advise' for sending to Asia Regional Office and S.E.A agents, providing latest comprehensive updates of all transhipment containers lying in PSA for their reference and planning purposes;
• Undertake special projects that will help improve processes, create work efficiencies and benefit the organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

· Undertake simple and complex statistical analysis of a variety of different datasets whilst producing (and monitoring) performance measures, modelling scenarios and outcomes as necessary, for a variety of stakeholders across the organisation. This will include internal and external data, and the use of quantitative and qualitative analytics techniques. Data quality checks and screening are often necessary as is the ability to provide quality assurance re: imported data.

• Derive insights and explain/interpret trends identified, and their implications which can include presenting findings to stakeholders. This will involve preparing and leading on reports and producing suitable metrics which are appropriately benchmarked. An integral component of the role is ensuring that data is fully understood and utilised appropriately, providing further information or context as required, and training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Manage and design the reporting environment, working to identifying areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes, whilst establishing and maintaining automated data processes. This will involve working with the Data Architecture Team around the data lake by identifying and revising reporting requirements. Will need to develop and maintain MI/data reports and dashboards. • Create appropriate data visualisations, utilising PowerBI, Tableau and other appropriate tools like R, all in service of providing an accessible way to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data.
• Manage complex data-related projects and the production of data products from their inception to conclusion, including those involving complex data modelling and forecasting. This will include supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalisation.
• Support adhoc requests for data.
• Process confidential data and information according to guidelines, with a complete understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act and the implications for the work – advising stakeholders as appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, ensuring effective data utilization. Contribute to discussions on systems, databases, platforms, software, and data tools, particularly concerning data and analytics requirements for new or upgraded systems.

ABOUT YOU

• Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) from a reputable university or equivalent experience.

• Conduct screening and ongoing assessment of child development, maternal and family wellbeing.
• Collaborate and partner community and social service agencies (eg. FSCs, SSOs) to provide the necessary support for the families and their children, which includes regular case conferences and discussions.
• Commit to and participate in the evaluation and fidelity monitoring of service delivery through consistency in administrative work, provision of data and information on cases in a timely manner

Requirements:

• MUST possess minimum Degree in Early Childhood or Psychology
• At least 1 year experience in social service, working with families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised and adaptable to changes.
• Passionate about working with children and families with an interest in early childhood development.
