JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Snr Customer Service Executive

Location: Lower Delta Road

Reporting Relationship: Manager

The individual is required to handle customer inquiries/ request for quotation, bookings, and coordination. It would include create bookings in Company’s proprietary freight forwarding system, and coordinating with carrier, depot, trucking, insurance, and customs clearance.

More specific roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Scope

1. Handle full set of import and export shipments and shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Delivery Order, Permit Declaration, Notice of Arrival, etc

2. Prompt Response and close communication with vendors, customers, carriers and overseas agents

3. Offer solutions to client for shipment /space

4. To resolve routine and non-routine issues or complaints from customers.

5.Sourcing and negotiation of rates

6. Billing and closing of job files

7. Accurarcy checks on job files in in-House Freight Management System

8. Prepare Reports

9.Provide guidance and solution to juniors

10.Top Line Growth and Responsibilities through retention and penetration efforts, and business development with Network Agent Partners and House Accounts.

11. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Qualification and Experiences

- Minimum 4 years working experience in Freight Forwarding

- A general diploma in Freight Forwarding / Logistics is preferred. However, candidate without above qualification but with multiple years of proven relevant track records will be considered too.

- Proficiency in English and 2ndLanguage skills

- IT Savvy

- Working knowledge of Import and Export processes.

- Ability to keep up the pace and stay efficient at the same time is required.

- Ability to find suitable solutions that work for the situation at hand.

The Senior Events Executive (SEE) is a self-motivated, highly organized, field based production expert with the drive and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a quick turnaround time.

Passionate and excited about events and project coordination, you are detail oriented and respond proactively to complex situations, changes and process improvement.

What you will be doing:

• Develop a strong working relationship with clients, venues and suppliers;
• Follow-up with concepts and proposals approved by clients and puts them into reality;
• Source for materials and negotiate for best prices from suppliers;
• Key liaison between clients, event managers, designers and other 3rd party vendors, ensuring that client and event requirements are met;
• Coordinate and manage set-up and production of event on-site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event;
• Plan and propose workflows for every event;
• Supervise and manage all suppliers and contractors on location;
• Works closely with team to collectively produce a successful event;
• Handle multiple projects from entry-level to complex events;

You will support the HR Business Partnering team to deliver HR administration services for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to their first day of reporting.
• Send out new hire email to the respective stakeholders.
• Ensure the preparation of all necessary documentation for new user creation and electronic personnel files (e-pfile).
• Administer and create new user profiles on HRIS and/or other relevant systems.
• Manage the application, renewal, and/or cancellation processes for foreign employees' work/employment passes as applicable.
• Assist in addressing staff queries and provide support to the HRBP team, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
• Actively contribute to staff engagement by organizing activities that promote and enhance employee health and wellbeing.
• Provide support and coordination in various administrative and procurement matters as required.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Degree/Diploma in Business and/or Human Resource Management.
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR support function
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and other employment related legislations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint, etc
• Experience in HR information system, preferably familiar with HRiQ from iQDynamics
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, meticulous, resourceful and a team player.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Administrative Executive

Responsibilities:

• Invoicing, tracking, and following up on invoices.
• Book-keeping and accounting tasks.
• Managing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate IT maintenance and software updates by liaising with IT vendors.
• Coordinate with landlords, vendors, and contractors on all logistical matters.
• Maintaining and updating contact lists of vendors and suppliers.
• Handling travel arrangements: flight reservation, hotel accommodation, visa applications etc
• Managing Steinway Production Studio bookings schedule and maintenances
• Carry out any other tasks assigned to you by the General Manager of Steinway Gallery

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team on each shift, ensuring that the company maintains the highest quality of service standards
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in performing duties related to marketing, operational plans, and other special restaurant functions
• Handle any guest feedback on food quality and service
• Supervise, support and confirm that the outlets adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards, policies and procedures
• Routine inspection of all outlet equipment to assure all are in proper working condition and prepare a list of equipment in need of repair and maintenance
• Regular stock-taking to ensure sufficient supplies in restaurant/café for smooth operation
• Plan staff roster based on outlet’s operational requirements
• Supervise and support the operations of at least two restaurants/cafés
• Able to function as customer relations and handle customer reservations
