Job Description & Requirements:
- Prepare vessel schedules in line with commercial requirements of the company and sharing updated schedules with relevant stakeholders such as internal departments, MLOs, & agency network.
Closely coordinate with the Singapore Port Authority (PSA) to ensure smooth operations by:
- submitting the monthly vessel schedule to PSA at the beginning of every month via the Portnet Berth application
- ensuring any updates are captured on the Portnet Berth application in a timely manner
- ensuring necessary approvals are obtained for hazardous and over dimension cargo prior to acceptance
- applying tight connection as required and closely monitor until the connection is made
- ensuring timely coordination and execution with PSA to deploy 2 cranes, when necessary, in order to keep up with the sailing schedule
Constantly liaise with owners to:
- make sure ship certificates are renewed in a timely manner and are in order
- Engaging with back office (Jambi) to assist on preparing relevant stowage plans for every port calls
- Engaging with agents to ensure there is priority berthing at all port calls
- Coordinating with agents on port clearance, immigration clearance, assistance on additional tug requirements, etc to ensure fast turnaround time at the port
- Ensuring valid ship certificates are submitted to relevant authorities through the agency network in a timely manner
- Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of arrival/departure reports and NOAs shared by the agent
- Maintain montly report pertaining to the port operations which monitors feeder/vessel discharging & loading, waiting of berthing time in order to update the principles/management.
- Submission of cargo manifests to portnet, as per required by PSA & Customs.
