About This Role:-

The CRO is a senior executive responsible for the effective independent oversight of AsiaNext Exchange’s risks, under the direction of the Board of Directors. The CRO’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement a risk management framework with appropriate tools for the measurement, reporting and control of AsiaNext’s financial and non-financial risks. The CRO, with input from the CEO and management, will develop a risk appetite framework (as per the Board’s stated risk tolerance) expressed in a limit structure for all Exchange services. The CRO will also monitor risk-taking activities on the Exchange platform by its participants and report adherence to limits to the Risk Management Committee.

The CRO will report to the CEO while having access to the Board directly. The CRO is a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO).

Responsibilities

• As Head of exchange-wide risk management, the CRO will be responsible for the overall risk management framework and practices at the Exchange. This includes assessing the creditworthiness of participants at the Exchange and setting appropriate trading and credit limits for their transactions, as well as any settlement risk arising from the Exchange acting as a central counterparty on a post trade basis, and how this risk can be mitigated such that the residual risk is within the risk appetite and capacity of AsiaNext.

• Administration of credit policies, processes and internal controls to govern the credit control and collection function
• Credit assessment and credit review function
• Payment follow-ups and enforcement of assigned credit limits/policies
• Active collection process involving calling, email, site visits and other appropriate means
• Monitor, ensure accurate and timely payment recovery
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
• Coordinate and build strong relationship between customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues at root cause and enable smooth collection
• Prepare regular and monthly credit related reports
• Organise routine collection meetings with sales team
• Handle Legal proceedings, Small Claim Tribunal and 3rd party collection agencies
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing reports
• Ensure compliance with company financial standards

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES

• Diploma and above qualification in Accountancy/Finance/Business or equivalent

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control
• Disciplined, well-organised and good communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Job Description

• Sourcing and assessing feasible locations for deployment of AXS Station islandwide
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders relating to the deployment process of AXS Station, including but not limited to:
• Conducting Site survey with relevant parties
• Contractual negotiation
• Preparation of documents such as agreement and assessment forms
• Preparation of monthly reports for internal and external recipients
• Management of multiple accounts at a time
• Other ad-hoc duties when required

Job Requirements

• No experience required. Diploma qualification of any discipline are welcomed to apply.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Able to work independently and interdependently
• Comfortable with frequent travelling around Singapore and constant communication with partners and landlords in person
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and locations islandwide will be advantageous, but not required.
• Basic understanding and knowledge on contractual matters preferred, but not required.

• Work with our digital marketer to create content marketing campaigns, to drive leads and generate traffic
