You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day business operations by providing effective operational support to various teams, including Branding and Marketing, Media Solutions and Consumer Revenue, Partnerships and Engagement. You will manage a diverse range of administrative tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer procurement, payment, and billing processes, ensuring timely processing and compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide logistical and specialist support to team members, maintaining adherence to budget constraints and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with editorial, legal, procurement, finance, and corporate teams to enhance newsroom operations and related activities.
• Facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
• Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying opportunities for optimizing resource allocation.
• Recommend actions based on budget variances to ensure targets are achieved and expenditures remain within approved limits.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance administrative workflows, ensuring efficient support for the newsroom and related functions.
• Regularly assess and refine administrative processes to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma with relevant experience in support, budget management, or related fields
• Effectively bilingual and comfortable in written/spoken English and Chinese
• Proven ability to actively and effectively manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong aptitude for analyzing data to inform decision-making processes.
• Capacity to devise innovative solutions to operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficient in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Capability to make timely, informed decisions.
• Able to work independently but also connect with people and collaborate as a team

Job Scope

• Assist in developing and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Prepare employment contracts and handle onboarding for new employees.
• Employee Relations:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration:
• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage employee benefits, including leave, insurance, and other welfare schemes.
• Coordinate and schedule employee training programs, including internal and external sessions.
• Maintain training records and ensure proper documentation of completed courses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR system.
• Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, turnover, and leave reports.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.
• Assist in the coordination of performance appraisal exercises and processes.
• Assist in the formulation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure that company policies comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or other relevant discipline
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in HR role
