General Description

Job Description:

- Efficiently load and unload shipments of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.

• Perform physical labor, lifting and moving packages, crates, or pallets.Pay close attention to detail
• to verify accurate loading and unloading of items without damage.
• Label, sort, and organize items in the warehouse or delivery area.
• Check work orders to determine the type and quantity of items in incoming shipments.
• Match order information with received items and report any discrepancies to managers.
• Lift and move merchandise from delivery trucks onto checking pallets.
• Inspect each item to ensure conformity to standards and isolate non-conforming products.
• Transport and stack checked and secured goods in assigned storage areas.
• Provide assistance to warehouse workers from storage areas.
• Verify that picked orders have correct batch and item numbers.
• Load items onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper and secure placement.
• Update all necessary paperwork and record shipment information in the database.
• Maintain a high level of physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
• Possess strong organizational skills to manage incoming and outgoing loads.
• Work closely with team members and operation supervisors to complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Develop effective communication skills to collaborate effectively in a warehouse setting.
• Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning supply chain.
• Acquire knowledge of picking and packing orders to enhance performance in the role.

Requirements:

- Candidates must be physically fit

- Willing to work with heavy cartons (each carton range from 10 kg to 30 kg)

- Willing to work in wet and cold-room environment (4degree celsius to -18 degree Celsius)

- Able to communicate in Mandarin

Our technology stack consists of Java, C#, AngularJS, React, BPMNs, RESTful web services, k8S, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Graph and DB2 databases and Slang/SecDB (GS-proprietary scripting language & risk-management DB). We use Git for Version Control and new development is increasingly cloud-native, either on or off-prem.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

· Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology, software industry with a proven delivery track record (preferable in financial services or risk).

· Hands on experience managing diverse teams (15+ staff), coaching/mentoring and people management including teams in other geographic locations.

· Leadership experience developing plans, roadmaps, partnering with diverse stakeholders, Margin Technology leadership group in EMEA, Americas.

· Experience in design and architecture of various enterprise applications with considerations of performance, scalability, resilience, supportability.

· Strong understanding of Java, C# and related technologies. Experience with relational, NoSQL Databases and SQL.

· Good experience with data modelling and data analytics.

· Solid understanding of financial industry - exchange facing and Over the Counter (OTC) business, Prime brokerage, Future and Options business.

· Experience leading teams based on overlapping geographic locations

· Strong communication and articulation skills as the role requires working with various Asia business/core teams.

· Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment working with a diverse set of colleagues and stakeholders across regions.
