Mechanical Design Engineer/ Senior

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop series of marking/inspection/ sorting/customised semiconductor equipment to meet the processing and automation needs of customers. Main duties involve

• Design standardization
• Costing and project management
• Machine and module conceptualization design
• Design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and Concurrent engineering
• Pneumatic/ hydraulic circuit design
• Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings
• Selection and sizing of standard components available off the shelf
• Undertake new product development or be involved in sustaining engineering/CIPs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/ Master of Engineering with minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Senior position can be consider for those with more years of experience.
• 3D solid Modeling, preferably Pro-E (others like Solid Edge, Auto Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solid Designer are also acceptable).
• Strong project management skills
• Good track record in:

1. Ultra High Precision machine design
2. High Speed Pick and Place mechanism design
3. Structural, kinematics and dynamic analysis and FEA simulation
4. Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis (e.g. stack up error)
5. Engineering material selection
6. Design troubleshooting
7. Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE

The Digital Health Accelerator (DHA) is led by A*STAR, Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore, SingHealth, National Healthcare Group (NHG), and National University Health System (NUHS). DHA supports innovators in driving adoption and scaling of market ready or near-market ready digital health solutions. DHA is hosted by Singapore's Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub).

The DHA integration engineer is responsible for planning and developing workflow and technical interfaces between healthcare IT systems. S/he will work with DHA Project Managers, Solution Architects, health systems and companies to accomplish this objective. S/he may also be called upon to advise other developers on integration standards.

Description

• Plan, design, implement and test integration between new and in-development digital health solutions and other healthcare information systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, M.I.S. or related field

• 2+ years’ experience in HCIT integration using established and contemporary interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, SMRT, FHIR)

• Experience with popular healthcare integration engines with ability to recommend and/or select different integration approaches depending on the desired outcomes for the system

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with project stakeholders from different backgrounds (e.g. technical, clinical)

• Experience integrating with Singapore public hospital technical stack and working with IHIS are a plus

MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop machine control software for automated semiconductor equipment.

• Develop new process control software
