ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Project Management, Procurement:

· Conduct Field Engineering during the piloting, construction, commissioning and operation/maintenance/DLP/after sale phases of Gradiant’s Projects in Singapore and overseas with minimal supervision.

• Ensure the daily cleaning and sanitization of each refuse collection truck and equipment in the fleet.
• Repair malfunctioning vehicular parts, refuse collection compactors and all technical tools, equipment used in operations.
• Trouble shoot and resolve technical issues and liaise with vendors for very complex ones.
• Responsible for managing and keeping account of all operational assets of ALBA WH and ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling and forecasting operational needs.
• Respond immediately to equipment's/REL/Chassis breakdowns and engage concern service providers and follow up and regular checking the trucks every day before and after operations to make sure for day-to-day operations.
• Ensure strict vehicle, equipment servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime, maintain schedules and compliance to all policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with different vendors to understand material purchase, sourcing contracts, bidding and to continuously innovate and bring new technologies relevant to the waste collection business.

Pre-requisites:

• Possess a valid class 4 driving licence
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays upon rotation
• Hands-on with ability to handle simple IT tools

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and work closely with Project Manager to oversee site matters and provide technical support such as interpret construction drawings
• Ensure all technical drawings conform to the latest BCA codes and regulations
• Supervise site progress and ensure timely delivery of contract works from subcontractors/suppliers
• Manage subcontractors/suppliers to perform their respective scope of works for smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce in-house regulations
• Attend site meetings to assist the Project Manager with necessary preparatory works
• Liaise with relevant government agencies to obtain necessary site permits/clearances
• Any other ad-hoc duties as instructed by superiors

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

• Possess a recognised Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management and at least 3 years of relevant working experience of the building construction industry

or

• Degree in local universities in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management
• Strong knowledge in use of Autocad, BIM software such as Revit and microsoft projects

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Project Execution covering all Engineering Phases from Proposal, Basic, Detail, Commissioning and Construction.
• Report to superior Piping Engineer for all piping engineering works.
• Read carefully and fully understand Client scope of works in ITB/Contract.
• Verification of Client specifications & requirement.
• Ensure necessary information and data for engineering work are available and has been provided and report the result to superior piping engineer.
• Technical co-ordination with all discipline related to engineering works.
• Participation in Design Reviews.
• Perform piping 3D modelling and drafting piping isometric drawing.
• Preparation of all associated list – Specialty items, Line list etc.
• Prepare material requisition list for piping components.
• Perform site visit and participate in Engineering tendering works or Projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Computer literate and able to use design software – AutoCAD and CADWorx.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 5 working days, Mon to Fri (8.00am to 5.30pm)

• To handle water/wastewater projects independently in terms of budget, planning, schedule, and deliverables
• To coordinate with clients, project team, sub-contractors to ensure project implementation smoothly.
• To work closely with Project Manager, BIM Designer for drawing review, update, and timely submission for approval.
• To prepare method statements, risk assessment, progress report and technical submissions
• To inspect the site regularly to track project progress, quality and safety & health practice and other issues.
• To involve in the plant testing and commission at site.
• To manage engineering and project document systematically.
• To certify jobs completed and prepare progress claims.
• To provide technical support for tender preparation.
• To cooperate with Operation Department on ISO audits.
• To lead the team to carry out the works in compliance with safety regulations and strive for zero accident in the workplace.
• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering
• Proficient with CADWorx or AutoCAD
• Preferably 3 years relevant working experience in similar industry
• Able to work with all levels of workforce
• Self-motivated and team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
• Preferably possess valid Class 3 license
