Corporate Development Department
Vantage’s global Corporate Development team is responsible for the company’s value creation strategy through initiatives including sourcing and executing acquisitions to help rapidly scale our reach and capabilities, raising new equity capital, and leading organic investments in new markets and regions including via joint venture or partnerships. The Corporate Development team collaborates with our regional leadership and operating teams to drive the evaluation and execution of M&A, capital raising and other strategic investment initiatives.
Position Overview
Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, initiative-driven, quick-learning Corporate Development Lead Analyst to contribute to critical functions relating to Vantage’s organic and inorganic growth strategies. You will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders; managing expectations and escalating where required in a fast-paced work environment. You will work closely with our Senior Director, Corporate Development and have high visibility with members of our Executive Teams in North America and Asia Pacific, as well as our equity investors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of driving results and takes initiative. You should have a professional-growth mindset and be willing to bring forth innovative ideas and methods that can benefit Vantage. Depending on learning curve and growth, opportunities to take on management and responsibilities on various projects will arise. As the business grows, this role will also have managerial responsibilities for an Analyst to deliver the corporate development goals for the APAC region.
Essential Job Functions
- Create and improve financial models to forecast profitability, cashflow, and funding requirements related to potential acquisitions, joint ventures (JVs), greenfield development opportunities, and other strategic investment initiatives
- Significantly contribute to critical corporate decisions, particularly related to returns, capital allocation, and investment strategy
- Drive preparation of presentations for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders
- Manage modelling and support due diligence process for new acquisitions, JVs and greenfield opportunities by coordinating interdepartmental tasks and evaluating future potential markets
- Responsible for financial modelling for potential data center real estate acquisitions, JVs, greenfield opportunities and other business intelligence
- Support deal process from target identification and evaluation through closing
- Prepare materials for internal review and regular updates with the Board of Directors
- Make recommendations to the Executive Team regarding the company’s strategic purpose based on data, including capital allocation outcomes and strategic planning
- Work closely with the Senior Director, Corporate Development, and regional and global executives to provide quantitative and relevant recommendation on strategic and financial topics, including new project investments, contract structure and pricing, equity requirements and debt funding where required

Job Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in related Corporate Finance / Private Equity / Valuations areas
- Strong modelling skills is a must
- Prior data center/digital infrastructure/commercial real estate investment experience is preferred but not required
- Fundamental understanding of economics, financial statements, accounting and valuation concepts
- Highly proficient with MS Office Tools, especially Excel
- Strong stakeholder management and resilience in fast paced environment
- Unrelenting attention to detail and execution of instructions “hands on” attitude, entrepreneurial mind, team spirit
- Ability to work independently, particularly when working remotely
- Curious problem solver with a strong sense of urgency, responsibility & accountability
- Excellent written/verbal communication & influencing skills - in English required, additional Asian language is a plus.
