Your Role:
The individual performs a variety of tasks within the Transformation Office and Quality department that are associated with maintaining regulatory compliance of GxP computer systems (and other business managed applications) throughout their lifecycle. • Responsible for troubleshooting, incident management, servicing, maintenance, or other support functions for software or firmware associated with laboratory systems including OS upgrades, patch management, Infrastructure management and system security.
• Acts as liaison and interface between laboratory users, IT, OT, Engineering, Validation and external vendors in selection, implementation and lifecycle management of laboratory systems. Responsible for maintenance plan and contracts with vendors
• Responsible for timely communication of status of user requests and/or system outage reporting (e.g., helpdesk tickets).

Who You Are:

• Degree in Science or Technical area.
• 2 years’ in a technical role supporting regulated software applications or laboratory systems
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulated (GxP) environment

As part of its hub structure, UAPL hosts several key centralised business models (CBMs) under its roof - namely Unilever International, Global Procurement Operations for Raw Material and Finished Goods, Global Commodity Risk Management and the Global Marketing Category/Brand teams.

Brief

UAPL Finance is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager - Treasury reporting directly to the UAPL Finance Operations Manager within the Controllers team. He/She will be the main Treasury lead for UAPL whose role will involve both managing of Treasury Operations as well as implementing Strategic initiatives as driven by Global or business-initiated requirements.

The successful candidate will be supported by an offshore team and will also be in regular contact with the Global Treasury team on strategic initiatives and ongoing policy update and compliance.

Main Accountabilities

Exposure management

Manage FX exposure across the different business models under UAPL. These include:

• Responsible for observing Forex limits and ensuring compliance to global treasury policies

• Review journals on Interest charges, bank charges, Unilever Finance International (UFI) sweep and fund transactions, Loans, FX differences arising out of settled FX contracts, settlement of payments and collections, revaluation & mark to market on open FX contracts.
• Analyze and ensure timely completion of Treasury reports (FX exposures, currency trends, Cash Forecast, actual cash flows; hedging requirements).

Governance and Compliance

Maintain policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury operations. These include:

• Responsible for the Treasury Policy compliance and the simplification of the actual operation, aligning to the Global Model.
• Responsible for liaising with audit teams on OCA, SOX, Corporate and external audits for all treasury areas
• Lead monthly reviews with Cap Gemini to ensure quality delivery of outsourced operations and to progress on the agreed continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best in class process

Insurance Management

Summary

The role involves strategically managing finance matters across the Asia Pacific, working closely with the Regional Finance Controller and Country Finance Controllers/Managers. The responsibilities include coordinating financial planning/budgeting and analysis and overseeing working capital, treasury, and taxation. Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage working capital and treasury for countries across the Asia Pacific region. This includes ensuring that countries meet their accounts receivable past due KPIs and make efficient use of cash.

The following are the essential tasks that the role entails:

• Conduct weekly conference calls with focus stations to review the status of their receivables and ensure that their past-due accounts are within an acceptable range.
• Manage credit terms and amounts to ensure they are in place and adhered to. This involves overseeing bad debt provisions and write-offs in line with company policy.
• Develop strong relationships with our corporate banks.
• Regularly review balance sheet reconciliations across Asia Pacific countries, including reviewing accruals.
• Participate in monthly performance reviews, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Plan and execute process improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls. This includes conducting regular internal audits to ensure proper vendor management.
