• Work with respective Business Units and IT for system enhancements and timely resolution of interface issues and reconciling items.
• Support User Acceptance Testing when required
• Execute and improve on work processes and controls to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reconciliations, reporting, and financial closing.
• Support company’s initiatives as required.
• Liaise with auditors and respective internal departments to address audit findings
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices

Our Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant financial closing experience
• Candidates with life or general insurance accounting experience have an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skill
• Strong drive to understand new topics and explore new solutions under minimal supervision
• Strong focus on timely and accurate reporting
• Strong communication, leadership and influencing skill
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Manage the revenue audit and receivable master database including ticket sales, rental, retail, concessionaire, F&B and collection of car park and other miscellaneous source of revenue.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Audit of the daily collections/remittance from the cashiers

· Daily verification and counting of the cash collection and banking of the collection

· To prepare timely invoices to the tenants/ agents/corporate sales

· Manage the master database of the accounts receivables and ensure records are updated

· To follow up outstanding accounts receivable and highlight to management any discrepancies noted;

· Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Minimum ‘A’ level or Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualifications.

· Minimum 2 years related working experiences

· Experience in the hospitality/retail industry would be an advantage

· Proficiency in MS Office Applications

· Team player and able to meet tight deadlines

· Able to multi-task and is meticulous

· Able to commit from 1 December (if possible. 5 to 6 months cover maternity leave).

· Working hours 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

· Hourly rate $24.00
