Responsibilities

The Credit Analyst reports functionally to the Credit Manager of Regional Real Asset Infrastructure APAC and locally to the Co-Head of Real Asset Infrastructure APAC, based in Singapore, with the following responsibilities:

• Credit risk monitoring and reporting of the real asset and infrastructure credit exposures in accordance with EBA guidelines with a particular attention to ESG related matters.

Profile required

Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:

• 7+ years’ experience in structured finance.
• Strong risk analysis and understanding of all structuring issues relevant for structured finance during loan’s life including risk monitoring, provisioning and work out.
• Strong fluency in financial analysis, modelling and review of legal documents.
• Strong understanding of trends in the sectors covered within APAC.
• Deep knowledge of the internal procedures and regulatory compliance coupled with a good understanding of conduct & culture values and general strategy of SG/GBIS.

Responsibilities:

▪ Be a business partner to subsidiary business leaders, finance and accounting members. To engage in every aspect of the business organization and offer insights and points of view beyond just Finance and Accounting.

▪ Examine, develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives in accordance to finance group mid-term plan and transformation projects as a regional finance HQ function.

▪ Lead and review forecasting and budgetary planning and reporting.

▪ Manage year end audit process, impairment assessment and attend to audit queries, for timely sign off of audited accounts.

▪ Develop and implement optimized tax strategies, provide insight on tax implication and tax risk area in supporting business initiatives. Manage accurate and timely taxes filing (corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, etc), and ensuring tax compliance.

▪ Oversee treasury activities such as cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management, consider optimized options and funding sources for cost-effectiveness. Actively safeguard the company financial and perform risk management by analyzing the transactional activities.

▪ Recommend financial advice or analysis when making investments. The work may include designing investment framework, industry analysis, financial modeling and due diligence.

▪ Provide guidance and leadership in developing or enhancing accounting policies and internal controls, drive operational excellence and efficiency.

▪ People management and development. Build finance capabilities and skills to increase efficiency and the value add of the finance functions and across Asia region.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

▪ The Regional (Senior) Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the Finance and Planning Division to accomplish all the divisional goals and responsibilities.

▪ Manage performance by setting clear goals, follow up and provide feedback to subordinates on their performance progress.
