Job Summary

The Senior Assistant (Accounts Payable) - Finance supports the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. • Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports and provide receipt updates to Admissions and relevant support staff;
• Fee protection scheme (FPS) administration and manage the end-to-end process of FPS purchase in compliance with the CPE and Edutrust requirements;
• Work closely with Admissions team and relevant support staff;
• Manage the refund process and take charge of the refund process, ensuring timeliness and in compliance with school policies
• Manage a portfolio of students for Finance related queries and to support the Finance Manager in managing fee collection, such as follow-up with parents on outstanding fee payments, while maintaining high level of customer service;
• Supports the manager in day-to-day financial operations, transactions and collections in the campus.
• Process staff claims
• Assist in both internal and external audits.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification;
• Preferably has a minimum of two years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or as a Cashier (good to have);
• Preferably has prior experience with FPS administration (good to have)
• Preferably possess an understanding of basic Singapore accounting and tax policy;
• Team player with good communication skills who is also able to work autonomously with little supervision;
• Have effective customer service skills and the ability to manage both internal and external customers;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word Meticulous and able to process data with high degree of accuracy

Accounting and Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly/yearly accounts for 3 Kaefer entities; Singapore, Indonesia and China and ensure timely reporting.
• Sound knowledge of SAP PF1
• Review of balance sheet items and preparation of consolidated balance sheet.
• Monthly group reporting to Head Office in Germany.
• Monthly review of overheads vs budget and forecast.

Cash Management

• Ensure optimum cash management
• Authorise cheques and EFTS
• Monthly cash flow update to Treasury Management System Platform

Budgetary Control and Strategy Planning

• Budget administration expenses in conjunction with CFO
• Summarized divisional budgets and admin budgets and prepare corporate budgets.
• Compare actuals with budgets on a monthly basis, highlight deviations and suggest corrective measures.

Statutory Compliance

• Monitoring of Tax payments (Employee Income Tax, CIT, WHTs)
• Monitoring of National Social Security & Pension Scheme reporting process
• Monitoring monthly CPF submissions
• Monitoring quarterly GST Return submission
• Liaise with Tax consultants, company secretaries and lawyers
• Liaise with external/internal auditors for interim and yearly-end audit

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Credit Control executive to support the Finance Manager. You will play a crucial role in supporting the credit management function, including liaision with customers and internal staff. Duties:

• Responsible for credit control activities, which would include the following:
• Manage and maintain debtor's accounts to ensure the accounts are current.
• Monitor Accounts Receivables closely and ensure timely update of receipts from clients into accounting system.
• Close liaison with customers to ensure the timely collection of payment.
• Support any duties with our billing team to ensure in compliance to accounting standards, government regulations, internal policies and credit control policies.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Past experience as a Credit Controller is favourable, preferably in a fast-paced business environment
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively

• Basic knowledge of accounting system experience
