• Offer advisory service recommending suitable wealth management products for potential customers.
• Knowledge of internal policies and procedures to effectively manage the sales cycle and facilitate operational execution of transactions.
• Report sales activities and results to the management on a regular and prompt manner.
• Competent on all KYC/CDD procedures, AML guidelines and all other regulatory guidelines governing the Sales & Advisory process.
• With the cues from customer feedback, pro-actively identify opportunities and provide feedback for improvements in all areas including product & service offering, sales process or operations.
• Supporting, contributing, promoting and driving technology initiatives like Internet applications, mobile applications, etc towards promoting customer convenience and service excellence

Customer Relationship Management

• Take ownership to respond for all customer issues and navigate internally to address issues promptly and/or escalate to relevant authorities promptly.
• To act as a single point of contact for all customers under handling.

Operational Efficiency

• Be responsible for 100% accuracy on the various forms submitted to Operations or to Partners for execution.
• Jointly responsible for the up keep of the branch aesthetics as per the Corporate Identity guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; preferably in Banking, Insurance & Financial Services
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales and financial products and services.
• Prior Banking or Financial industry expeirence is required.
• CMFAS certified required - M5, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI, BCP, PGI.
• Excellent customer focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of banking, wealth management and insurance products
• Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

The compensation structure will have Basic Salary + Commission.

[What you will be working on]

You will part of a team responsible for the supervision of financial institutions conducting financial advisory and insurance broking activities. This includes banks and insurers which carry out financial advisory activities, as well as licensed financial advisers.  

You will be involved in assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of financial institutions’ risk management systems and internal controls, and market conduct practices, through both onsite inspection and offsite review. You will also be involved in policy reviews related to the supervision of financial institutions.

In the course of your work, you will have opportunities to interact with other departments in MAS, as well as external parties such as audit firms, industry bodies, foreign regulators, and other government agencies.  

You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.

· Facilitate and address any MAS queries and external authorities, as well as internal and external audits

· Familiar with outsourcing guidelines and prepare relevant policies, procedures and documents in compliance with MAS regulations and guidelines

· Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· University Degree in Business, Law, Finance or related disciplines

· At least 3 years of strong compliance experience in local regulatory compliance and risk management, with demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

· Strong knowledge or prior experience in key regulatory requirements such as the Securities & Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines, and AML/CFT regulations

· Work independently, self-motivated, strong analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and manage execution under pressure

· Familiar with FATCA and CRS reporting is preferred

· Effective communicator in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients

Job Responsibilities:

• US reporting - covering monthly actuals; monthly forecasts, quarterly projections; budget - to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Corporate for all reporting deadlines. A clear and efficient accounting process from transaction capture to end reporting in accordance with the GAAP, statute and corporate guidelines.
• Smooth running of the Financial Reporting operations covering the plant - an established set of procedures on the Financial Reporting operations; simplification of operations to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborating with the accounting team to execute accounting tasks.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of related experience, priority will be given to candidates familiar with the Blockchain industry.
• With US GAAP / shared service and handling regional taxes experience added advantage
• Possession of a minimum degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Holding a professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) will be beneficial.
• Proficient in spoken English and Mandarin (to communicate with mandarin speaking associates).
