Responsible for the electrical systems and/or communications systems design.

• Ensuring electrical & communication systems meet applicable standards & codes.
• Working with electrical design, preparation for the water treatment system, and associated system interface with skid, pump, control panel, instruments, etc.
• Hands-on experience in power distribution systems, circuit, and load protection systems
• Provide design support, including a design data sheet and conceptual design drawings.
• Coordinates with the Engineering team and other disciplines as well.
• Support team for the design and implementation.
• Oversee the project’s conception, design and specifications.
• Manage scheduling, estimating, and securing materials.
• Experience in drafting electrical drawings such as wiring, single line diagrams, and cable routing.
• Preparing technical documents such as IO list, PLC programming, datasheet, and specification.
• Assists in the preparation of electrical engineering calculations in support of electrical system designs, including electrical equipment sizing, feeder sizing and equipment selection.
• Support and assist designers drawings preparation
• Work with Project Managers and other team members.

Skills & Experiences required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 7 years experience in water and wastewater treatment for Engineer/Senior level.
• Candidates with more than 15 years of experience will be considered for the Lead or Manager role.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Expert in using AutoCAD software for developing and updating drawings.
• Sound communication skills, both verbal and written
• Independent, accurate and attentive to details
• Team player and flexible to work well with others.
• Has the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting records.
• To provide full support and assistance, as and when directed by the Superintending Officer and/or Professionsl engineer.
• To check and assess temporary works by the Contractor to ensure that the works are safe and in compliance with all relevant Regulations.
• To ensure that Contractor’s working procedure complies with the agreed method statement and relevant workplace safety and health regulations and to direct modification to the procedure, if necessary, to comply with the agreed method and safety and health regulations.
• To inspect completed work and prepare defects list if necessary.

Job Description

• Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs.
• Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
• Responsible for product quality management, implement quality plans, drive quality improvement projects and prepare quality report to identify problem areas and work on problem resolutions
• Interface with and handle customers/vendors on quality issues.
• Issue and closure of CAR for customer (RMA) and Supplier issue – External
• RMA receipt and disposition of RMA in Macola – External.
• Work with QA department and Engineering on customer related issues e.g. RMA

About the Role:

• Lead a group of Production Technicians in the safe and smooth running of the production.
• Assist the Process Engineer to conduct activities and projects to optimize operation during Shift to achieve operational and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot plant/equipment/quality issues and recommend countermeasures.
• Monitor and ensure plant equipment integrity and reliability.
• Assist the Process Engineer to support Shift operation by providing suitable operating conditions for stable plant operation and product quality control.
• Train and develop team members.

About you:

• Possess Degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent, preferably with 1 to 2 years of experience in petroleum, chemical or polymer industries.
• Have knowledge of process control and troubleshooting, hands on knowledge of plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Essential prerequisites include good analytical and technical report writing skills, ability to be a team player with leadership, initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.
