We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food Safety Trainer(s) to join our team at Absolute Kinetics Consultancy (AKC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, comprehensive training sessions on food safety standards, practices, and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring our clients achieve excellence in food safety management and maintain compliance with local and international food safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Conduct food safety training programs for employees at various levels, including managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
• Deliver training on topics such as food hygiene courses, HACCP principles, foodborne illnesses, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure training aligns with food safety standards mandated by SFA (Singapore Food Agency)
• Administer and evaluate assessments to measure trainee understanding and performance by regulatory standards (e.g., Singapore Food Agency, SkillsFuture Singapore, Ministry of Education).
• Continuously improve training programs based on participant feedback, industry trends, and emerging regulatory changes.
• Work with the Training & Development team to process and implement corrective actions to learner feedback,uphold regulatory standards during training and propose improvements/additions/incorporation of modern training solutions for learners.
• Ensure all training programs are aligned & updated with regulatory standards and legislations prescribed by relevant authorities (e.g., Singapore Food Agency, Ministry of Education).
• Stay updated on changes in food safety regulations and practices to provide the most accurate training.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

1. NITEC Certificate equivalent or higher, in food science-related courses with food safety modules*. *Note: AEs who do not have NITEC Certificate equivalent or higher, in food science-related courses with food safety modules would need to have other food safety-related qualifications (e.g. Advanced Food Hygiene, WSQ Apply FSMS for Food Service Establishments, WSQ Food Safety Course Level 4, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System Lead Auditor course certified by IRCA/CQI etc.).
2. Attained the following certifications:
3. WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (formerly known as WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures / Basic Food Hygiene Course) AND
4. WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 (formerly known as WSQ Conduct Food & Beverage Hygiene Audit / Food Hygiene Officer Course)
5. At least two (2) years F&B experience in supervisory OR training OR consultancy area.
6. Work experience in food retail AND/OR food manufacturing.
7. ACTA/ACLP Certified.
8. DACE/DDDLP is preferred but not compulsory.
9. Multilingual capabilities to cater to diverse trainees (e.g., English and Chinese) is preferred but not compulsory.

Job Description

• Is Driver-in-charge of an assigned route which includes outbound and inbound trips; to & fro warehouse/assigned outlets/assigned drop-off points
• Perform Barcode Scanning
• Perform merchandising; organise produces presentation at outlets
• Perform Picking/ Labelling/ Repacking/reconciliation where necessary
• Responsible for on time inventory return to warehouse per schedule
• Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle
• Conducts daily checks to ensure that vehicles are in good and safe conditions
• Assist in other Drad-hoc duties when required

Job Requirements

• Possess class 3 license (Manual),
• Can work diligently independently
• Has pleasant communication ability
• Has a basic level of customer service skills when dealing with vendors/customers

You will report to the Business Development Manager and will assist to answer questions from customer about our company’s products and/or services.

Delivering information about our company’s offering, understanding potential customer’s needs to pitch for new sales. And support existing customers by helping them to resolve their service issue, determining the root cause, rectifying the necessary and explanation or addressing the matter if required. Contact relevant internal stakeholder to rectify and then clarifying with customer, quickly escalate the situation internally for customer if necessary, and follow up with internal stakeholder and customer until customer issue has been resolved.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate for sales team by managing schedules, filing confidential documents and communicating important and relevant information.
• Price update to internal stakeholders and system. (Monthly, quarterly or new model
• Update sales performance (weekly) and record sales department KPI
• Generate reports (Weekly & monthly basis)
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments on sales planning
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, manage all incoming customer queries, issues or grievances with patience, positivity and professionalism over the phone and/or via emails;
• Keep records of customer interactions, record details of inquiries or complaints and actions taken by relevant colleagues;
• Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers' issues or requests and that customer issue has been revolved successfully;
• Report unresolved customer grievances or special requests to Business Development Manager for further investigations
• Communicate with customers to chase payment for unpaid invoices while maintaining professionalism and strong customer relationships.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / O’ Level / NITEC or recognised diploma in a related field;
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position;
• Experience in international movements of goods, freight forwarding or logistics industry would be an added advantage;
• Excellent communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Mature, detail oriented & well organized; able to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Good team player, positive attitude and willing to learn;
• Skilled in working cross culturally and in developing relationships with colleagues;
• Preferably Junior Executive Level
