Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide detailed and comprehensive Lending support/expertise to a specific area of the business by taking on responsibility for tasks of an organisational, process or operational nature.

Candidates should be able to work independently and possess the following:

• A Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, preferably major in Banking & Finance with at least 2 years work experience in the banking industry
• Well-versed in lending middle office operations as well as familiar with the related front to end workflows essential

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma with Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or any related field
• At least 2 or more years' work experience in the trading/commodities houses as Risk Officer (or equivalent) for both derivatives and physical trades.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience Excel VBA, Python or Power Query/BI skills would be good to have.
• Experience in setting up new curves/calendar set up and onboarding new products to be traded in-house system for risk management.

Main Accountabilities

• Execute the responsibilities of a WSH Officer as required in the Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and regulations and Code of Practices
• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents
• Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
• Maintain the safety of the environmental working conditions
• Provide full Health and Safety support from planning, implementation to completion
• Investigate accidents, and conduct safety inspections
• Maintain safety controls and process within the company’s policies and in accordance to ISO14001, Bizsafe, OHSMS18001 and other local statutory requirements.
• Establish a good rapport with the client, sub-contractors and government authorities.
• Follow and keep the requirements of the law and be aware of any updates in facilitating ongoing improvement, efficiently share and publish pertinent information.
• Conduct daily meetings and trainings for different departments

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
• Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM for minimum of 10 years
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in WSH for building/construction industry
