THE POSITION
Title:
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, scalability, and efficiency across the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and contribute to the overall success of RegASK. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven track record of optimizing operations in a fast-paced SaaS / Tech-enabled environment. This is a transversal role which includes revenue operations and content operations. You will be working closely with our CEO, Chief Product & Technology Officer and Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Strategy:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
· Drive initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
· Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Revenue operations:
· Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of revenue goals. Act as a bridge between departments, facilitating communication and addressing operational challenges.
· Revenue strategy:
o Work in collaboration to develop and implement a comprehensive revenue operations strategy aligned with the company growth subjective.
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimize revenue generation processes.
· Sales process optimization:
o Analyze and optimize the end-to-end sales process to improve efficiency and accelerate deal cycles.
o Implement tools and technologies to enhance sales productivity and performance.
· Forecasting & Budgeting:
o Collaborate with finance to develop accurate revenue forecasts and budgets.
o Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective measures as needed.
3. Team Leadership:
· Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the operations team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
4. Process Optimization:
· Identify and implement process improvements across various departments to enhance workflow and efficiency.
· Work closely with department heads to analyze current processes and recommend enhancements to drive scalability.
· Implement best practices and standards for operational excellence.
· Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
· Ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities with overall business objectives.
5. Data Analysis:
· Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements.
· Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the success of operational initiatives
6. Risk Management:
· Identify and mitigate operational risks that may impact the business and develop strategies to mitigate them.
· Develop and implement contingency plans for critical operational functions.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
· 10 years of experience in senior operations role, within a SaaS or technology driven company.
· Familiarity with Technical and software proficiency
· Tech tools relevant to this position
· Strong leaderships and team management skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Project management and organisational skills
· Experience with Series A and Board participation will be an added advantage.
· Strategic thinking & Cross functional skills
· Knowledge of LifeScience / Software industry is a plus
