This temporary staff shall support the academy in the academic writing and copyediting assignments to develop, edit and convert existing basic training materials into SUSS study guide format for accreditation purpose.

Responsibilities:

Academic writing

• Perform the necessary research and include relevant information e.g., news articles, statistics etc. to value-add to the training materials where applicable.
• Ensure right choice of flowcharts and diagrams for illustration purposes.

Copyediting

• Ensure proper formatting and accurate language features by working closely with the statutory board and SUSS in editing and proofreading of course materials.
• Ensure proper references are being cited (if external sources are used to supplement existing materials).

The temp staff shall also make sense of the content provided by the statutory board and evaluate if there is a need to engage the statutory board / SUSS for clarifications, as well as to edit the content independently after conducting research and fact checks

The Deal Desk Manager is a key member of the Global Monetization and Deal Desk Team, supporting the business across Asia Pacific, Japan & China (APJC). This is a 6 months contract role.

Job Responsibilities :

· Perform daily bank reconciliation and follow up on outstanding items.

· Handle accounts payable process including raising payments, preparing journal entries.

· Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.

· Ensure proper booking of transactions, including prepayments, accruals and provisions.

· Prepare reconciliation schedules for various balance sheet items.

· Assist in local financial reporting, MAS/regulatory and head office reporting.

· Perform any other accounting duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Possess at least a Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Accountancy.

· Min one year of working experience in similar capacity preferred.

· Exhibit positive attitude, willing to learn and a good team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely execution of the following contract management/customer accounting tasks:

o Issue new/renewal policy contracts and documentation

o Administer contractual updates/admin updates/Policy termination

o Chase premium base/Book premium base in the system and calculate premium

o Prepare bonus/malus calculation

o Issue premium and fee invoices

o Undertake dunning process and follow-up on outstanding premium and fee receivable

o Generate regular/ad hoc reports

o Perform reconciliation with insurance partners in ASEAN

• Manage and answer queries from internal and external clients

• Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Diploma / Degree holder

• Good command of English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Knowledge of SAP is an advantage

Main Duties:

• Preparations and receiving of Official delegations in coordination with the Office of the Ambassador and diplomats involved
• Provide Logistical support to official delegations and the Embassy in coordinating with all sections of the Embassy

• Overseeing maintenance of diplomats ' residences

• Support for all activities of the Ambassador outside the office and in coordination with the Office of Ambassador and works on the official protocol and rules that relate to the activities of Ambassador and take them consistently
• Record all correspondence of official docs and archive in an orderly manner
• Track the completion of governmental procedures and transactions, and refer to official authorities in the host country concerning official business of the embassy, such as issuing flight permits, customs clearance and the diplomatic pouch, and follow-up
• Contribute to organizing and arranging conferences, concerts, seminars, and exhibitions and make the necessary arrangements.

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Candidate is either Singaporean Nationality or Permanent Resident.
• Candidates must possess a university degree in public relations, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Proven 2 years working experience in public relations required
• Proven record of accomplishment designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
• Effectively and proficiently bilingual (speech & written) in English and Arabic Language to liaise with Arabic speaking customers and associates.
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Event planning experience.
