A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR ID Labs) is seeking for a Research Officer to join us in our mission to be a leading centre of infectious diseases research. A*STAR ID Labs aims to develop a cohesive A*STAR response to drive and deliver translational infectious diseases research to better health and economic outcomes.

Job Description:

• To focus on bridging the knowledge gap of vector–pathogen-host interactions in mosquito-borne disease transmission. To understand the immune and pathogenic mechanisms during mosquito borne-virus infection to guide the development of targeted and effective control and treatment strategies
• Conduct laboratory experiments in vaccine/drug testing and perform data analysis for industry/research collaboration projects
• Work with patient cohorts and relevant models (both in vitro and in vivo) of infectious diseases
• Perform meticulous recordkeeping and able to draft delivery report to industrial partners
• Perform maintenance of inventory and procurement of laboratory consumables
• Ensure safe technical practices and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience or applicants with relevant academic experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience with cell culture models, mouse models, animal studies, cell biology, flow cytometry, serological and molecular techniques, handling with BSL-2 and BSL-3 pathogens will be an asset
• Experience with industry project management
• Strong background in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Genomics
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Good spoken and written communication skills

• Review and process loan applications for bilateral and syndicated loans.
• Generate and analyze reports related to credit exposure, loan utilization and other relevant metrics.
• Identify and assess credit risks associated with loan transactions.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external parties to coordinate drawdown activities and disburse funds promptly.
• Maintain records of all loan transactions and related activities.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Banking / Finance / Business Studies or any relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit administration and operations.
• Team player with a keen eye for details and good interpersonal skills.
