The great things you will be expected to do:
● Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers through ensuring the
following steps of service are followed with every guest in the food space:
- Every guest is acknowledged with eye contact, a smile and a friendly greeting when entering
any of our food spaces or approaching a food station at the start of their meal,
- Help and guidance offered to every guest who might need it through friendly body language,
- A friendly farewell offered to every guest leaving the food space.
● Keep all food counters and displays clean, tidy and replenished in accordance with the level of trade at
all times.
● Ensure food displays, serving utensils, cutlery and food tags are in place, clean and available to
customers at all times.
● Serve food in the assigned plates in the portions approved by the client.
● Comply with hygiene and safety regulations set by the Company, client and government.
● Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
● Ensure that the cafe spaces are always maintained well and all cleaning schedules are effectively
followed
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
✔ Adhere to Compass Singapore HSE systems and procedures and ensure proper grooming and uniform
standards are being maintained,
✔ Follow all Emergency Response plans & escalation matrix on site,
✔ Follow procedures for identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks,
✔ Adhere to and maintain food handling standards and food safety plan at all times.
