Introduction:

• We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant with experience in Mediclaim submission and managing accounts receivable.
• The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in handling medical claims and follow-ups on outstanding payments.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 0900-1800hr

Job Description & Requirements:

1. To answer all incoming calls and inquiries

2. Handling emails

3. Answer all the queries by email/phone about e-file matters pertaining to reimbursement/refund from insurers or patients.

4. Collect documents from the clinics twice per week and perform online submission (Mediclaim).

5. Communicate with the claims department for outstanding e-file claims (e.g. patient’s queries/claim hold “pending” by Insurer)

6. Raise corporate insurance claims/invoices

7. Doctors’ annual leave coordinator – liaise with clinics and hospitals on covering doctor

8. Hearing Aids referral list for doctors every monthly

9. Chase outstanding payments from patients and follow up on receivables owing from various corporate payer

10. Receive invoices and review them for accuracy

11. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system

12. Retrieve documents from the filing system

13. General clerical duties including scanning, photocopying, and mailing

14. Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries

15. Maintain and order office supply inventories

16. Duties assigned by the Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assists head chef and assistant cook in food preparation, maintaining food quality expectation of food standard.
• Ensures high standard of hygiene in food preparation, organized in kitchen working environment
• Quick in food preparation and is able to cope with a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ensures that there is minimum wastage in food preparation.
• Ensures freshness of food ingredients and raw materials.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by Head Chef, Assistant Cook, and Company.

Requirements:

• 6 years of relevant experience in Cantonese Cuisine.
• Able to commit 6 days of work per week and 10 hours of work per day.
• Willingness to learn and listen to feedback for improvement.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes initiative and is passionate in the work.
• A good team player.
• Able to read food orders in Chinese and the knowledge of Mandarin/ Cantonese is essential due to the work nature of having to communicate in Chinese.
