A. Job Summary

You will work closely with the Cluster/Department Head and other Programme Managers within the team to educate, equip, engage and empower caregivers of persons with mental health issues by providing training and emotional support.

B. Responsibilities

• Conduct and facilitate the Caregivers to Caregivers Education Programme (C2C).
• Meet the needs of caregivers through providing information and referral services, and emotional support if necessary.
• Promote awareness of Caregivers Alliance Limited’s (CAL) programmes and services offered.
• Support outreach and partnership efforts with assigned hospitals and other organisations through outreach events and other engagement activities to raise awareness of mental health, caregiving and CAL’s programmes and services.
• Network and build relationships with the assigned hospitals and other assigned organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration and connect with other caregivers to promote CAL’s programmes.
• Ensure timely and accurate data and record entries in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in support of data analysis and management reporting.
• Attend staff meetings, case consultations and conferences if required.
• Participate and support other colleagues and departments to meet CAL’s strategic objectives while building the desired organisational culture.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Internal Controls, Policies and Standard Operational Procedures

• In charge of month end closing, prepare/ review journals, Debit Note, Credit Note, bank reconciliations and monthly schedules.
• Coordinate with relevant team members to follow up the open items identified in the monthly schedule.
• Supervise FA functions by ensuring FA transactions are correctly recorded in accounting system.
• Conduct reasonableness test for revenue recognition, AR provision and other AR related adjustments.
• Involve in AR related pipeline projects by assisting to draft new policies and procedures.

All tax related matters

• Prepare/review quarterly GST filing calculation and reconciliation.
• Review withholding tax calculation and provide technical advice / support to AP officer.
• Assist to establish the control process for all tax compliance aspects.
• Communicate with IRAS, internal and external parties for tax related matters.
• Perform tax filings on IRAS websites.

GESS Fund

• Lead / conduct month end and year end closing for GESS Fund (a legal entity)
• Prepare/ Review monthly P&L and B/S schedules for management review and approval

• Involve in the daily operation of GESS Fund and oversees the financial related matters

IT and other ad-hoc projects and tasks

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecast, strategic planning and board reporting
• Full hands-on experience in handling both external and internal audit

What you will be doing

Full Set of Bookkeeping

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

The role

You run the accounting function at Love, Bonito. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be in charge of maintaining the integrity of our accounting infrastructure and ensuring it scales with the Company.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee all related functions in the accounting department including accounting operations, general ledger, and financial reporting functions
• Manage preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management reports on a timely basis
• Lead all audit and internal control operations and ensure adherence to local statutory financial reporting requirements
• Oversee the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage and mentor 10+ accounting team based in both Singapore and Malaysia
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and investments.
• Oversea treasury strategy to optimize risk-free yield from excess cash on balance sheet
• Lead implementation of any accounting related technology
• Manage key relationships including auditors, banks, payment providers, and insurance
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
