Summarized Purpose:

• Provides support to investigator sites, monitors, department, business unit or function through communication of information, training sites and documentation of services pertaining to clinical trials. The Dental Surgery Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment,
• Attend to all patients seeking treatments and/or making enquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously,
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room,
• Maintain dental equipments and instruments in good working condition,
• Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment and scheduling of next appointment,
• Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment,
• Send, receive and monitor cases that are sent to the dental laboratory,
• Ensure high standard of infection control.

• Perform full spectrum of HR functions and admin support including recruitment, employee relations, grievance handling, staff engagement and advisory service on HR policies and procedures.
• Review and maintain all HR related policy.
• Posting of recruitment advertisements
• Perform end-to-end recruitment – interview, shortlisting, assessment & selection, offer and on-boarding.
• Handle work pass administration including work pass application, renewal, and cancellation.
• Ensure HR policies and practices are legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Assist in checking through payroll records
• Handle other ad-hoc duties that are assigned
