Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in basic food prep, such as peeling, chopping, and washing ingredients.
· Measure and prepare ingredients as instructed by chefs.
· Help with plating and garnishing dishes.
· Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
· Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery.
· Take out trash and recycling regularly.
· Maintain hygiene standards by health and safety regulations.
· Unpack and store deliveries properly.
· Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages.
· Ensure food items are correctly labeled and stored to avoid waste.
· Follow the directions of the Head Chef and kitchen team.
· Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations.
· Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
· Handle food safely to prevent cross-contamination.
