Job Descriptions:
Admissions and Transitions

• To provide all the necessary administrative and statistical duties related to all admissions matters from application to the students are admitted to the school
• To schedule all the relevant interviews with parents
• To collate all relevant reports and send it to the relevant parties
• To collate and liaise with all relevant organisations such as SGEnable, SPED Schools, other VWOs, MOE AND MSF with regards to admissions and transitions
• To maintain admissions data in the Centre’s Student and Client Management System

Means-testing Duties for Voluntary Welfare Organisation Transport Services (VWOTS)/ School Based Financial Schemes for clients

• To administrate the ETS means-testing scheme
• To upkeep all the necessary administrative and statistical duties related to this scheme
• To maintain and upkeep all the necessary data and record- keeping for this scheme for the purpose of submission to the relevant authorities such as SGEnable, NCSS and MSF as required.
• To take on the liaison role in communicating with all parents and the Centre’s appointed bus vendor with regards to the scheme

Administration and Programme Development

• To continuously improve on the existing administration structure of the department
• To take minutes at all relevant meetings
• Handle all phone calls and emails enquiries
• Handles yearly audit enquiries
• Monitors budget spending

Social Work;

• Report to Senior Social Worker
• Co-work with social worker on cases
• Carry out Case Management
• Conduct Home Visit
• Administering Financial Assistance Scheme
• Case recording
• Any other job scope deems suitable for a Social Work Associate

Job Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in social work / Graduate Diploma in Social Work, preferably with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in working with special needs children/adults would be an added advantage

Accountant

Job scope:

• Quality of accounting book

Ensure management and statutory accounting records are maintained in compliance with general accepted Standards and Regulations

Ensure that the general accounting and financial reporting activities are compliant with the Group core model and within Singapore tax jurisdiction

• Reporting – Actuals

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end account closing and reporting

Prepare monthly financial management reports in software and ensure all financial reporting and consolidation reporting deadlines are met

• Reporting – Budget

Perform periodical forecasting as per request from time to time

Prepare consolidated forecast reports and analyse the difference compared with previous forecast, as required

Preparation of Data for Budget Planning of the following year, based on trend analysis and actual planning

• Audit, Tax and Compliance

Assist Group Internal Controls Director and Company Finance Director in maintaining periodical testing and internal controls risk assessments, in order to ensure compliance with Group Internal Controls Procedures as well as Statutory Requirements.

Lead financial annual audit process for subsidiaries in charge, including preparation of annual accounts according to Singapore FRS and coordination of the whole process

Handle tax related matters, including GST tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Monitor statutory tax compliance matters

Prepare annual corporate tax computation of the company, ensure the computation be reviewed by tax consultant and Finance director, monitor the tax filing status

Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation

Fixed asset maintenance and control

Monthly supervision of payments and receivables management with a team of accounting assistants

Stocks management and analysis with the help of a team of specialists

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma or Accounting Degree from a recognised institution with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience with handling full sets of accounts

• Sound knowledge of double entry principle

• Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Tax & GST regulations

• Hands on knowledge of accounting system ACCPAC

• Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Outlook

• Develop and deliver people manager strategies that supports Company’s strategic aims and objectives.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff through the organization and ensure staff handbook is comprehensive and up-to-date.
• In charge of recruitment, on-boarding, payroll administration, income tax filing, foreign workers matters including work passes, health checks, renewals and security boards.
• In charge of HR maintenance include HR database and employees’ personal records.

• Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide updates to management

Job Requirement

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
