KKH is an 830-bed tertiary-level care hospital that provides obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric and other services. It is part of the SingHealth group of public hospitals. The position is based at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPLM), the team is looking for pathologists with subspecialty interests in gynaecological pathology, breast pathology, cytology or any combination of the aforementioned areas. The department is an integral part of the larger SingHealth Duke-NUS Pathology Academic Clinical Programme.

Requirements

You should be a qualified and experienced medical specialist with relevant quali­fications that are registrable with the Singapore Medical Council, and have a specialist qualification in gynaecologic and/or breast pathology or have had a distinguished career as a gynaecoogical and breast pathologist that can be recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board.

Also, you should have at least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal and have competent clinical skills with the ability to make sound and independent decisions.

Employment will be made commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent frontline customer service and meticulous administrative support to the Outpatient Services
• Customer registration, appointment scheduling and reminders, collection of payment/deposits
• Respond to customer requests and enquiries
• Regularly update general patient records
• Undertake general reception and other adhoc clerical duties as assigned

Requirements:

• GCE N’ Level or ITE Certificate holders are welcome to apply
• Prior customer service experience in relevant healthcare settings would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Ability to communicate in vernacular languages is an asset (in order to liaise with vernacular speaking associates/patients)
• Must be able to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
