The Visiting Professor will deliver over the course of their appointment two public lectures organised by the Singapore Central Sikh Gurdwara Board (CSGB).

The successful candidate should be a senior scholar holding the rank of Professor or Associate Professor in a relevant discipline. He/She shouId have a strong international scholarly reputation, extensive experience of teaching and student supervision, a recognized research profile. He/She will be expected to contribute to the teaching, research and leadership in the department in which he/she is appointed.

The successful candidate will have a primary appointment in the South Asian Studies Programme in the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, according to area of expertise. The Visiting Professorship title will be for a period of up to one year.

Resposibilities:

• Attend weekly Ops meetings with respective business units / properties. Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and at least 2 years in HRBP role with Bachelor Degree in HR

• Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance.
• On Boarding/off-boarding of workers, including arrange medical check-up, CSOC, levy bond and etc
• Purchasing of air tickets when repatriating foreign workers

• Update and keep record of workers’ leave , medical leave ,home leave
