Primary Responsibilities

Perform sales functions as follows:

• Identify potential customers with precious metal refining requirement from the following industry but not limited to, Oil and Gas / Chemical Industry / Aviation / Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate the best deal on behalf of the company through close follow-up with potential customers to obtain feedback on the status of quotations, competitors’ response, decision-maker’s intention, and any other relevant information affecting the outcome of the proposal.
• Work with customers on metal pricing and transfer requirements to monitor precious metal price updates and customer job status and work closely with relevant departments to ensure high customer satisfaction and smooth operations within the company.

Work with Customer Service to maintain Customer Database with inputs such as name, designation, company, address, telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address, etc.

Assist Senior Manager to maintain/improve the Customer Care Program by monitoring customer satisfaction, addressing customer complaints, and responding appropriately to any changes in customer’s personnel, equipment, processes, materials used and business strategy.

Support market intelligence by gathering information on customers, prospects, competitors, new entrants, price, market situation and trends in the various segments, influence groups & stakeholders, service offering and substitutes.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Recruitment (~50%)

• Oversee the recruitment and management of various full-time positions, including ICT trainers, software developers, and healthcare assistants, as well as facilitating mid-career traineeships and internships.
• Lead comprehensive recruitment processes from start to finish, encompassing tasks like candidate sourcing, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and executing initial interview rounds.

3. Overseeing and optimizing training initiatives (~15%)

• Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to implement HR initiatives aimed at enhancing company performance and fostering increased efficiency among employees.
• Assess the training requirements of new hires and actively guide them through the necessary training programs.
• Regularly interact with colleagues to evaluate their needs and recommend training when required.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in human resource management, social sciences, or a related field.

Assist WSH Officer in Implementing OHSAS 18001 & safety management system on site.

· Carry out check on the sub-contractors’ work to ensure that they comply with the safety regulations & requirements.

· Conduct daily EHS Inspection and rectify/correct any unsafe condition and unsafe practice immediately.

· Attend all safety meetings, Inspections and ensure that good working condition is maintained in the site.

· Conduct daily Toolbox meeting for Main Contractor’s Workers to brief about the safe work practices and house keeping.

· To monitor and ensure all workers & staff have attended relevant safety training Courses.

· Educate the workers about the Proper usage of PPE and ensure the compliance at the site.

· Check and maintain the documents of the Lifting equipments, electrical equipments Testing/calibration reports.

· Issuance of memo against the Safety, Health and Environment violation.

· Arrange the safety committee site audit schedule and meeting in monthly basis.

· Prepare the Minutes of site safety committee observation/Findings and discuss in the meeting.

· Follow and ensure the Safety committee’s Recommendations are complied with.

· Assisting WSH Officer in the Accident Investigation and Report preparation.

· Implementation of Incentives for Safety, Health and Environment.

· Check and ensure the availability of First aid boxes and Fire fighting equipments. Also to follow up on the servicing and maintenance.

· Brief about emergency evacuation, escape route and head counting to the workers and the Emergency Assembly Area.

· Maintaining SMS filling system.

· Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior or higher management.

Requirement:
