Job Description
This role focuses on ideating and executing integrated marketing projects to drive brand awareness and acquisition. He/ she will be part of the SEA marketing team based in Singapore and report directly to SEA Marketing Lead. Being a global team, he/she will have opportunities to collaborate with the marketing agencies and internal marketing team (Sydney, Singapore, Shen Zhen and London), as well as local Singapore team (commercial, sales, partnerships, merchant service team, account managers).

• Marketing strategy & budgeting - Collaborate and support SEA marketing lead with budget allocation to drive acquisitions and lower cost per acquisition
• Social/ Influencers (40%) – Identify and manage agencies to drive KOL-led campaigns; Ideate and execute new ambassador programs and campaigns to build KOL relationships (eg. client-based KOLs or external KOLs)
• Partnership marketing & events (40%) – Support sales and partnership team to build ecosystem partners, develop and run lead generation campaigns and events
• Content (10%) - Support SEA marketing lead and global content lead to contribute and build regional content strategy to drive 8 monthly regional content (eg. Customer case studies, client testimonies, blog content, co-partnership content, social media content across owned, earned and paid channels)
• CRM (10%) – Send out daily market updates emailers; support SEA marketing team in reviewing email journeys to optimize conversions down the funnel

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in marketing and partnerships role, preferably in the fintech or Internet industry.
• Experience in marketing to SEA markets – including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and/ or the Philippines
• Strong numerical & analytical skills to turn data into business insights and plans
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
• Highly collaborative & team orientated
• Proactive, results-oriented, with project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Thinking ‘Customer first’, and empathetic towards the customers’ pain points and challenges
• Thrive in a fast-pace working environment and openness to changes

Job Responsibilities

1. Product strategic planning:

a. Study market demand and customer feedback and formulate strategic plans for SaaS products.

b. Coordinate product development and release plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

2. User experience management:

a. Be familiar with user interfaces to ensure the product is easy to use and intuitive, and conduct product improvement for user experience.

b. Analyse user behavior and provide improvement suggestions to increase user satisfaction and retention rates.

3. Data analysis and monitoring:

a. Use internal and external Business Intelligence (BI) tools to monitor key performance indicators.

b. Analyse user behavior data and provide targeted suggestions for product improvement.

4. Marketing and communication:

a. Plan and coordinate online and offline marketing activities, including participation in industry exhibitions and cooperative promotions.

b. Develop and execute promotion strategies to increase brand awareness and online presence.

5. Customer relationship management:

a. Establish active interactions with customers, understand their needs, and ensure the best use of products by customers.

b. Review customer satisfaction surveys and take measures to improve user experience.

6. Teamwork:

a. Work with the product development team to communicate market needs and user feedback to ensure that the product meets market standards.

b. Work with the marketing team to provide product knowledge training and support sales activities.

7. Market trend analysis:

a. Track industry trends and competitor dynamics and provide timely market intelligence.

b. Analyse competitors’ product strategies and provide countermeasures.

8. Report directly to the Customer Operations Director and maintain close cooperation with the marketing department and product team.

Requirements

1. Educational qualifications and experience:

a. Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, marketing, computer science or other related majors.

b. 3-5 years product operation experience in the SaaS field and have successful product promotion experience.

2. Skills:

a. Excellent project management and execution skills, proficient in using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, etc.

b. Excellent communication and coordination skills, including technical communication and coordination with the development team.

c. Advanced ability to analyse and interpret data, proficient in using SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus.

d. Be familiar with the SaaS industry and related technologies and understand cutting-edge technologies such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

3. Characteristics:

a. Ability to think innovatively and solve problems and have successful experience in product improvement and innovation.

b. Highly responsible and self-motivated, able to maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced work environment.

c. Sensitive to market trends and competitive environment, able to quickly adapt to changes.

d. Good teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities:

• Generate revenue and profit in a fast-paced and target driven environment, liaising with clients, on-boarding new clients, identifying new business opportunities, and successfully closing deals, hitting and exceeding KPIs.
• Build, organize and manage the business development team.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to proactively pursue leads, achieve revenue targets and expand market share through strategic prospecting and networking.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individual and institutional clients in the Forex and CFD Institutional liquidity Market.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, setting budgets for sales & marketing expenditure for the team
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Other tasks delegated by the management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industry-related business development experience
• In-depth understanding of financial markets in Forex and CFD brokerage, liquidity solutions, trading technologies and risk management is essential.
• Good IT skills & knowledge of Meta Trader MT4 platform
