RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Partners the Global Head of HR CIB and Value Stream Leads to build, refine, manage and deliver the holistic, business centric CIB People Agenda in service of the business delivering its strategy. Takes responsibility for the overall management of the Agenda and Book of Work, working closely with colleagues across the CIB HRLT.
- Provides co-leadership to the “Data Informed” Value Stream within the CIB HR Book of Work, defining, articulating and tracking the impact of the People Agenda, and leading the storytelling off the back of that.
- Works across the CIB HR LT in service of a seamless client experience with the landing of the Book of Work that drives business value. Dives in to areas as required to join the dots and ensure effective delivery, including partnering Value Stream Leads on Retrospectives, lessons learned and Book of Work refinement.
- Leads various projects and initiatives on behalf of the Global Head of HR, CIB – across the People Agenda.
Business
- Support the Global Head of HR, CIB with critical, high value Talent, Culture, Performance and Organisation Design with and for the CEOs, CIB and CIB MT.
- Manage ongoing the cadence and operating rhythm of the CIB HR organisation – operating as Chair and Secretary as noted in the ‘Appointment’ section above. Drive meeting effectiveness in service of team and business outcomes.
- Manage the CIB HR budget and ensure effective controls in place with governance around team T&E aligned to S&T standards.
Processes
- Ensure effective delivery of all key CIB HR outputs to Group and Business level forums and committees, including partnering on drafting of MT level papers as required.
- Manage the holistic, effective communications plan across CIB HR – joining the dots across streams to monetise the CIB Employee Value Proposition through our internal and external communications cadence. Draft relevant communications on behalf of the Global Head of HR, CIB and work in partnership with the Value Stream Heads and CIB communications on broader communications to ensure effective execution.
- In partnership with the EA, CIB HR, ensure effective time management and preparation for all key internal and external meetings. Within this, support the Global Head of HR, CIB with effective performance and development management across the CIB HR organisation.
Risk Management and Governance
- Provide support on appropriate risk frameworks in place so that activities are carried out within the Group's risk appetite and reputational risks are appropriately managed.
- Provide support to ensure any audit and compliance issues relating to CIB HR are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide support to ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job-holder's attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or escalated, where appropriate to relevant risk committees
- Provide support on investigation and mitigation plans where there are audit findings or operational risks issues in the region and relevant business
Regulatory & Business Conduct
