What you'll be doing

• Providing administrative assistance to the HR team, including managing employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating staff onboarding and offboarding
• Supporting project management activities, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking project milestones
• Assisting with the coordination of training and development initiatives for employees
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Performing various office management duties, including ordering supplies, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems

• At least 1 years of experience in an administrative or project support role, preferably in the HR or project management field

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build upon your payroll expertise and experience. You will form part of a team providing outsourcing services and support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of your Manager, develop your understanding of the payroll structure and components.
• Prepare and support end-to-end payroll processing and recording of client’s payroll, which includes but not limited to monthly payroll, social security administration, statutory filing, year-end adjustments and filing individual income tax return.
• Participate in daily data entry and any other related payroll processing procedures.
• Preparing of monthly payroll summary report, GL & journal entry reports.
• Manage and handle queries from clients on payroll related matters by responding effectively and timely manner.
• To ensure compliance of all mandatory legislative requirements.
• Work with other Mazars teams, domestic and international, to meet client’s needs

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource or business-related subject
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in payroll function
• Able to work in a diversified cultural environment
• Has excellent organizational and time management skills
• Able to liaise well with others and deal with confidential materials
• Able to pay attention to details and highly meticulous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Payroll Software (Preferably on TimesPay), Workday
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and client servicing skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Duties and responsibilities:

• Processing of workers' payroll
• Managing all payroll-related activities, including updating the time management system, leave administration and statutory reporting.
• Monitor compensation and benefits processes such as salary revisions and bonus payments
• Handle the application, renewal, and cancellation of employment passes.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives, including organizing employee training sessions and updating the training matrix.
• Communicate with dormitory operators and the company’s dormitory in charge to address worker needs, including arrivals and departures.
• Manage government-related tasks, including IR21, tax clearance, government, and training grants.
• Execute additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• Experience working in Civil Engineering & Construction sector
• Experience in processing the full cycle of payroll and reporting payroll tax.
• Well-versed in Employment Act and Income Tax regulations.
• Familiar with using HR system, MS Excel and Word.
• Good command of English.
