The Candidate’s Key Role is to:

• Work with business stakeholders to gather business requirements / rules

• Gather data requirements and perform data analysis from source system SMEs

• Conduct thorough data analysis by writing SQL queries

• Apply business requirements / rules to source system data, taking into account how systems generate / update data, Assist project manager by leading prioritization and implementation of change requests / defect fixes in BAU

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough data analysis to verify mapping rules correctly transform data from source to target to meet business requirements / rules by writing SQL queries.

• Support IT and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC: Unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production.

• Develop IFRS17 reports and contribute towards insurance-specific SME knowledge for group-wide knowledge management.

• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

• Facilitate / conduct workshops with business stakeholders to identify project requirements, gather, analyse and document requirements.

• Facilitate / conduct workshops with source system and other technical stakeholders to identify data elements and understand source system behavior.

• Produce mapping rules from source system data to target system tables based on workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working in a Government Agency as a key member of the GovTech project team, comprising the Product/Project Manager, Solution Architect and the Technical Services Consultant (where applicable), to deliver ICT capabilities to realise Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation. You will be responsible for eliciting business needs and analysing business problems in order to scope, define and deploy digital solutions to address the needs of citizens, businesses and/or public officers. Responsibilities:

• Data Migration Transition: Facilitate the smooth transfer of data migration activities from external vendors while ensuring alignment with the overall migration strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Develop and execute trade marketing plans for the frozen food products,including promotional activities,pricing strategies and product positioning
• Manage import, export activities to meet high customer service level and response standards
• Manage the sourcing and distributionof frozen food products,including negotiating prices,packaging and delivery methods
• Direct the work flow of meat cutters and meat/seafood clerks while ensuring product produced meets company standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma in Business or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale brand consumer
• Experiences in wholesale/retail packaging (frozen meat manufacturing) experience preferred
• Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet wholesale demand. This includes managing stock rotations and addressing potential supply chain disruptions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in COBOL and AWS (Amazon Web Services) to play a pivotal role in our migration project. This role involves migrating on-premises COBOL applications to AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, analyse complex legacy systems, and contribute to designing and implementing migration strategies. Your analytical insights, technical documentation, and testing expertise will ensure a smooth and successful migration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering:

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to COBOL code migration.

· Analyse existing COBOL applications to understand business functionality, data dependencies, and integration points.

· Ensure clear communication of technical and business requirements across teams.

2. Solution Design:

· Partner with solution architects, framework teams, and developers to design migration solutions that align with business objectives.

· Develop detailed technical documentation outlining the migration strategy, process flows, and dependencies.

· Design solutions that align with the underlying AWS infrastructure and migration frameworks.

3. Test Suites Documentation and Test Data Mining:

· Create detailed test cases with clear objectives, expected outcomes, and step-by-step test execution plans.

· Regularly review and revise test cases to reflect changes in project scope or discoveries during testing phases

· Identify and prepare comprehensive test data, including boundary values, error scenarios, and standard use cases.

4. Risk Assessment:

· Identify risks and challenges associated with COBOL to AWS migration, such as system compatibility, data integrity, and performance impacts.

· Develop and propose mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address migration risks effectively.

5. System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

· Conduct thorough System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure migrated applications meet technical and functional requirements.

· Troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues in collaboration with developers and framework teams.

· Support business users and IT Project Managers (ITPMs) during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring issues are documented and addressed promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Business Analyst in COBOL-based projects, with specific focus on legacy application analysis and migration.

· Hands-on knowledge of AWS services and cloud migration best practices.

· Ability to analyse COBOL code to identify functionality, data structures, and dependencies.

· Strong expertise in documentation, including requirements gathering, solution design, and test case development.

· Experience conducting SIT and supporting UAT execution.

· Ability to troubleshoot and analyse technical issues at the code level.

· Exceptional problem-solving, risk assessment, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
