What you'll be doing

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute demand and inventory plans that will enable to meet sales and service objectives.
• Monitoring and evaluating sales and marketing data to effectively estimate product demands and production capabilities.
• Planning supply and demand in conjunction with Production Planning to achieve maximum plant utilization/optimization and meet the budget.

• Lead the Production Planning Inventory Control (PPIC) team to formulate rolling production plans and forecasts.

• Leadership capabilities to lead a PPIC team consisting of personnel from Production, Logistics, Shipping and Operations, Procurement and Purchasing to discuss, identify, and formulate production and plant utilization/maximization.
• Set up and maintained the PPIC procedures of Supply and Demand Planning for company and its subsidiaries.
• Identify issues and implement action plans to align with the corporate goals on demand of the raw and intermediate materials to meet production plans.
• Implement 3 months’ rolling forecasts and monitor accuracy as per sales and production plan.
• Conduct and lead daily, and weekly meetings with counterparts in Singapore, Indonesia and Europe to access the supply and demand of finished products to meet sales-marketing Objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Logistics.
• At least 4 years of experience as Supply Chain Management Planner in a Chemical or Oleochemical environment.
• Able to lead a PPIC team consisting of production, logistics, and shipping personnel.
• Supply and Demand experience, knowledge of shipping, and warehousing in a chemical production environment is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Required frequent travel to manufacturing plant in Indonesia.
