This temporary 1 month position is a generalist role where the incumbent will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions.

· HR role-emploment act, workmen compensation (WICA), CPF computation, Income tax clearance

· Ensures statutory and legal compliance on all HR practices

· Handle work pass

· Update and maintain employee's P-file

· Administer employee attendance & leave

· Performing intake of various HR tasks and inquiries such as processes for general HR activities, payroll, employee related matters

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· At least a Diploma in Business Management (preferably majoring in Human Resource Management)

· 2 years experience in manufacturing environment

· Knowledge on payroll administration using any HRIS system

· Familiar with local employment laws and related labor regulations

SKILL

Proficient in MS excel such as Vlookup

• Perform Full Spectrum of HR and Admin functions.;

• Handle Internal Recruitment process which include recruitment, staff orientations & administration of employee benefits;

• Work Pass Application, Renewal and Cancellation;

• Maintain employees’ leaves, medical and attendance record;

• Support the HR department in updating of HR database and processing employees’ requests;

• Provide General Admin duties and coordination support to the management

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess att least 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferably Entry Level specialized in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, multi task and well organized.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking associates/parties.)

Job Descriptions:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders on the relevant safety and skills upgrading courses for workers & employees.
• Liaise with the relevant external training providers in processing external course registrations, course confirmation, transportation arrangements, training leave application and ensure that payments are made in a timely manner.

• Register for staff’s new and renewal Coretrade with BCA, follow up on the confirmation and Coretrade course registration.
• Claim training grants and absentee payroll with the respective government agencies (BCA, WDA).
• Handle and administrative duties such as setting up internal training via Zoom, attendance records, training evaluation and any other queries related prior to the course.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned, and queries raised by staff / workers

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR or related roles preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Development of new manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing practices
• Design tools and fixtures with AutoCAD and CNC programming
• Operation of high tech Vacuum and Sinter HIP furnaces, CNC and Precision Waterjet.
• Support the training of staff and line operators on manufacturing processes
• Deployment of design of Experiment and statistical control for key processes
• Develop and execute process validation plans and proper documentation control
• Participate in cost reduction, quality improvement, safety awareness and other activities for continual improvement

• Working Hours: 5.5-days, Mon-Sat, 0800AM - 0530PM

• General administrative duties including to provide full spectrum of administrative support to the Director/Manager
• Receptionist duties (Handle incoming calls, fax & email enquiries)
• Data entry of information into the system
• Filing of documents and maintenance of records for easy retrieval and accurate documentation to facilitate information flow
• Processing of petty cash claims, issuance of purchase orders and work orders
• Keeping track of all office equipment and liaise with external suppliers or subcontractors for information and quotation
• Liaise and coordinate orders with customers
• Follow-up and coordination of tasks with internal and external stakeholders
• Setup the training/ meeting room for training/meeting/presentation sessions
