• Responsible for supporting operational systems satisfying contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Performs and manages routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively (e.g. OS patching)
• Evaluates the existing systems and provide technical directions.
• Collaborates and manage various stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Anticipating, troubleshooting and rectifying systems-related issues.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• At least more than 2 years of experience in System administration, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux-based or windows server environments.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with network devices (e.g. firewall, switch) and networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Experience with monitoring systems and shell/bash scripts for task automation is an added advantage.
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks is an added advantage
• Pro-active, resourceful, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team

Your Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost effectiveness.

What Will You Do

• To manage engineering projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• To coordinate project activities and resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• To develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
• To conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• To monitor project progress and performance and make adjustment as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
• To collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
• To prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• To provide technical support and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.
• To communicate project status, issues, and updates to management and stakeholders.
• To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

What Do We Want

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Engineering or Project Management.
• Proficiency in Project Management software and tools.
• Familiar with the Singapore business landscape and regulatory environment.
• Possess a Class 3 driving license will be preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
