The primary purpose of this role is to lead programs in leadership development, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, and health and wellness. This position manages a team of specialists who design and deploy programs aligned with organisational strategies. It involves engaging with key stakeholders and senior leaders to cultivate a values-driven workplace culture while addressing future talent and cultural needs.
Leadership and Talent Management
- Translate organisational development strategies into actionable programs that enhance employee capabilities.
- Design and evaluate leadership development and talent management initiatives in alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead a team of specialists, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and aligns with organisational values.
- Establish governance frameworks to manage portfolios effectively, including roles, processes, and evaluation metrics.
- Provide regular reports on program effectiveness, outcomes, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Oversee succession planning and talent management to identify and develop key talents for leadership roles.
- Implement career development strategies that support employee aspirations while meeting organisational needs.
- Anticipate workforce trends and develop strategies for reskilling and organisational renewal.
- Build capacity in talent management through training for managers on effective coaching and people management.
Employee Engagement
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and communication, reinforcing a culture of care.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies based on employee feedback and best practices.
- Oversee communication initiatives to ensure employees are informed about HR activities and programs.
- Monitor strategies aimed at promoting employee health and wellness.
- Influence decision-making with relevant metrics, including the Employee Engagement Score.
Learning and Organisation Development
- Shape learning and development strategies that align with organisational priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to diagnose learning and organisational development needs and design interventions.
- Apply systems thinking to identify root causes of issues and develop action plans.
- Provide leadership and support for change management activities.
- Facilitate dialogues and programs to enhance organisational learning.
- Manage budgets effectively to meet learning and development objectives.
- Showcase career development approaches and implement values workshops to support organisational culture.
- Develop integrated systems for learning needs analysis and development planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team focused on enhancing culture, employee engagement, and capability building.
- Stay updated on industry trends and share best practices related to learning and career development.
Requirements
- Extensive HR experience in Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development.
- Skilled in conceptualizing and implementing HR programs aligned with strategic goals.
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage diverse audiences and foster collaboration.
- Experienced in leading organisation-wide initiatives in dynamic environments.
- Analytical capabilities to interpret data for talent engagement and retention.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.
