Purpose and Scope
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a vital role that collaborates closely with the Division HR Head and business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. This position is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of our workforce and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HRBP will support various HR functions, drive employee engagement, and ensure effective implementation of HR initiatives across the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Division HR Head to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Collaborate with line managers to analyse workforce needs, project future skill requirements, and optimize talent acquisition strategies.
- Identify and recommend targeted training and development programs to address skill gaps and prepare employees for future challenges.
- Assist in identifying high-potential talent within the division and support succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity.
- Support line managers in managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and exit processes.
- Facilitate the annual performance management cycle, providing guidance to managers on goal setting, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations, addressing any labor relations matters as necessary.
- Promote a service-oriented culture, proactively addressing organizational and employee needs to enhance overall satisfaction and engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust at all levels.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
