1. Complete definition and design of complex components, modules and sub systems. 2. 7. Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
8. Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.

• Key Product Unit, Process engineer for bump/FOWLP metallization product development at Applied Product Development Center (APDC).

The Data Center Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our data centre infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operation, including power, cooling, fire protection, security, and environmental controls. Other responsibilities include managing data center floor space and security. You will also lead a team of outsourced technicians and contractors, to manage projects, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key objectives are to:

•Maximize uptime: Ensure the data centre infrastructure meets the required availability levels and minimizes downtime, preventing outages, service and data loss.

•Maintain system redundancy: Implement and manage redundant systems for critical infrastructure to ensure smooth operation even during maintenance or unexpected events. Ensure maintenance regime is adhered to and any arising gaps remediated in a timely manner.

•Control operational expenses: Manage budgets effectively and find cost-saving opportunities for maintenance, upgrades, and external services

Requirements

•Familiar with fire safety rules and regulations associated with operating complex datacenter infrastructure

Job Description

The Singapore Airlines Mobile application (available under “Singapore Airlines” on the Google Play Store) vision is to be the trusted travel companion for SIA passengers, offering features covering the customer journey from booking, pre-flight, day of travel, in flight and post flight.

The SIA Mobile team is currently hiring Android developers. This is a full-time role with a hybrid WFH / Work from office arrangement, and includes travel benefits, access to ongoing learning, and an attractive work-life balance.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with our team of Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, QA, and Developers to build, optimise and release features within the SIA Mobile application.
• Ensure the application features operate smoothly in production and deliver world class customer experience to our large base of monthly users.
• Learn and apply principles of Test Driven Development, Agile Methodologies, Extreme Programming and MVP/MVVM architecture to deliver highly usable, stable and maintainable code.
• Learn and work with a tech stack comprising best-of-breed tools such as Kotlin, Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Sonarqube, automated test tools, a Java/Node.js back end, and AWS to deliver a monthly release of the mobile application.
• Integrate with a range of SIA’s backend systems using integration tech such as REST and JSON.
• Contribute to building a culture of openness, belonging, mutual support, ongoing learning, continuous improvement, enablement, and engineering excellence.
• Operations and L2 support work after hours may be needed from time to time. This will be kept to a minimum and shared across the team to ensure a sustainable work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete definition and design of complex components, modules and sub systems. Contribute to the system engineering specification both within the field of one's expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS). Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements. Be able to chair architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a subsystem.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements pertaining to field of technical expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach.

SUTD invites applications for a Research Fellow position in a research project to develop intelligent, secure, and resilient future communications systems. In particular, to support a diverse set of use cases with ever-increasing requirements, the architectural design of 5G and future 6G systems emphasizes software-defined reconfigurability and AI-enabled intelligent operations. Open RAN --- as a generic term used by the community for an open radio access network architecture --- is viewed as a promising way to achieve this design objective. While open RAN promotes interoperable interfaces, RAN virtualization, and support for big data and AI-enabled RAN, its success requires us to overcome multiple challenges --- in particular, how to build intelligence and adaptability into such a system while still providing high assurance regarding its security and resilience. Our project aims to lay a solid foundation for designing secure and resilient open RAN systems.
