IN BRIEF

The staff’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement a strategic and effective framework for providing access to the information of the Gallery’s collection of artwork to both internal and external parties, thereby, generating a greater awareness and understanding of the collection. The candidate will work closely with colleagues from the Curatorial & Collections, Curatorial, Research & Exhibitions, Content Publishing, IT and other departments, as well as with artists, artist estates, vendors and statutory board stakeholders governing the Collection.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee development, enhancement and maintenance of collection database across multiple systems, including data entry, cleansing and actively publishing the data on Gallery’s Online Collections Search Portal (https://collections.nationalgallery.sg/#/) and other platforms with the team. The staff should regularly conduct research into the latest museological practice in collection data and copyright management, executing the best practice for the Gallery.
• Responsible for designing an effective SOP, policies and manuals related to storing and sharing of collection-related information across different platforms and parties within and beyond the Gallery. • Responsible for generating and managing accurate statistics of the collection as well as reports tracking its usage to effectively measure the level of utilisation and public recognition of the collection.
• Responsible for strategic planning and implementation of copyright clearance for the collection and other related materials, the latter of which may include loans for exhibition projects. Handle complex negotiations with stakeholders in a sensible manner informed by understanding of regional context, while adhering to policies, international museum practice and guidelines.
• Facilitate complex internal and external requests for use of artwork images in the collection.

Job Summary

The Sales and Strategic Partnerships Head , will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strategic development for SSTL. SCOPE OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work related to projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation and administration, application design, development, implementation, testing and support.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Other responsibilities include:

l Create frameworks, technical features which helps in faster operationalisation of Data models, Analytical models(including AI/ML) and user generated contents (dashboards, reports etc)

l Effectively partner with data scientists in enabling faster adoption of AL/ML model based systems

l Independently install, customise and integrate software packages and programs

l Carry out POCs involving new data technologies

l Design and develop application frameworks for data integration

l Create technical documents such as solution design, program specifications for target solutions

l Perform design and development of applications which may not be limited to: Software Applications, Data Integration, User Interfaces, Automation

l Maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure a platform centric management of software applications

l Performance tuning

l Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

l Perform tasks as part of a cross functional development team using agile or other methodologies and utilising project management software

Technical skillsets

TEAM Architecture (Big Data)

l 8+ years of experience with application development in Big Data Ecosystem (such as Cloudera, ElasticSearch, Spark, Presto, Hive, Impala, Kibana, Logstash, Hbase, Kafka),

l Expertise in building applications using Java, Scala, Python, Shell scripting, Go

l Experience in large scale implementations and performance optimizations in the Big Data Ecosystem using Spark, Hive, Impala, Apache Kudu, Ozone, Presto, Tez, Iceberg etc

l Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Struts, Hibernate etc

l Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Multi-threading, Containerization, etc

l Knowledge of related technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, Jquery, node.js, docker

l Knowledge of Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, Hive, Sqoop, MongoDB, Oozie, Flume, Kafka

l Expertise in integrating applications with Devops tools

l Knowledge of building applications on MPP appliances such as Teradata, Greenplum, Netezza is a plus

At least, 2 to 3 technical certifications in any of the below technologies:

l Language – SQL, Java, Python, Scala, Javascript, node.js

l Automation / scripting – CtrlM, Shell Scripting, Groovy

l Cloudera Hadoop distribution – Hive, Impala, Spark, Kudo, Kafka, Flume

EDUCATION
