Reporting to the Head of Growth & Ventures and working in a challenging and exciting environment within Rio Tinto’s Innovation, Science & Technology Group, you will:

• Lead the Incubation team, helping set its vision, strategy, and objectives

The Antimicrobial Resistance Interdisciplinary Research Group (AMR IRG) is a unique translational research and entrepreneurship program aimed at solving the growing threat of resistance to antimicrobial drugs. In synch with the National Strategic Plan for Antimicrobial Resistance, the AMR IRG was launched in January 2018 as a research programme funded by the National Research Foundation, under its Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) programme.

• Be a highly collaborative Technical Agile Business Analyst able to effectively navigate organization boundaries, producing innovative ideas and help in implementing them
• A clear communicator ensuring that requirements are clearly understood by all the teams and that the implementation roadmap matches the requirements

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred
• 12+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis, Techno functional analysis and Project management
• Advanced skills in Agile Methodologies, Requirements Gathering / Analysis, Storytelling, Design Thinking, Business Case, JIRA and any of BI Tools
• Experience in the financial services and working knowledge on Asset Servicing, Fund Accounting would be added advantage.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Experience in Business Analysis, providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required.
