About the job

Reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth with the assigned customer accounts in the Marine Division in line with the South East Asia Sales Company targets and objectives.

In this role, you will be based in Singapore and will manage assigned customer relationship, including formulating and driving a specific customer account strategy to encompass the complete long-term relationship between Alfa Laval and the customer.

Present to customers as our expert in IoT Security and deployment at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO. Lead and support customer demonstrations (with our SE’s) that showcase our unique value.Interact locally and remotely with customers in an equally persuasive manner. Enable SEs through production of white-papers and other elevated technical collateral. Maintain bi-directional trusted advisor relationship with Product Management to drive client based insights/feedback and future solution direction.

The Consulting Engineering role is an overlay technical role that directly supports sales delivery of quota. CE’s are measured by their expertise and by their ability to lead to customer successes. There is also a requirement for close interaction with Product Management to ensure that we continue to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

Your Impact

• Work with Product Management, Technical Marketing and R&D to create requirements and product features for our large customers and provide feedback from customers

MicroStrategy’s Sales Engineers (Pre-sales Consultants) have a key role in the ASEAN Region. As Pre-sales experts, our Sales Engineers are accomplished at dealing directly with clients, along with international colleagues, to help secure results for a global, market leading listed company (NASDAQ: MSTR). Our Sales Engineers work closely with our Sales and Customer Success Management organizations to provide technical solutions for our prospective and existing customers, as well as with our Product and Consulting organizations to provide customer feedback and project handover. They are responsible for designing solutions that will address and resolve a customer's business issues, while evoking confidence in our technology platform and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle.

Our Sales Engineers work in tandem with our Account Executives to understand the customers’ goals and challenges to effectively position the value of the MicroStrategy platform. They will manage the technical aspects of the pre-sales engagement, customize demonstrations and respond to technical objections, RFIs and RFP all based on the goal to prove MicroStrategy can meet customer’s decision criteria.

Our Sales Engineers are one of the most interactive groups within the customer engagement lifecycle and help to drive pipelines by supporting marketing events, content, MicroStrategy days, etc. The successful candidate will have a consultative sales approach, and value the importance of teamwork.
