MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for the safe/efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard vessel operating in Singapore waters and in International waters. Supervision of all Engineering Officers and Engine Ratings (via the Second Engineer). Adhering to budgets and purchasing procedures of the Company. The safeguarding of the Owners' and Company's interests at all times.

Vessels Cargo System Specific Responsibility

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the ship’s Cargo and Ballast related equipment. He is to assist the Chief Officer in the operation of the ship’s cargo equipment, keep the Chief Officer advised of any bunker, lubricating oils or sludge transfers which may affect the ship’s trim, stress and/or stability.

The Chief Engineer together with the Shipboard Management Team is also jointly responsible for:

• Adherence to, and continuous improvement of, the VMS

• Ensuring that Engineer Officers and crew are well informed of the VMS requirements generally, and specifically, where procedures affect their work

• Co-ordinating with Fleet Superintendent to improve overall safety, environmental and quality performance through reports, and proposals within the engine room and other areas aboard the vessel as applicable

• Ensuring that all relevant technical and machinery space regulations are onboard and made available to the personnel concerned

Job Responsibilities:

· 2D drafting and other documentation.

· Assists Senior Engineer on the following;

- Technical assignments involving basic or applied research or the design and
development of hardware products that includes CIP, upgrades, End Of Life (EOL).

- Includes design and evaluation of mechanical and/or electromechanical devices,
components or systems.

- Develop, test and document designs for the transport mechanisms, vacuum
systems and various process stations, including deposition chambers, substrate
heating, cooling, cleaning, etc.

· Participate in the overall detailed product design.

· Participate in design review by providing mechanical design inputs relating to DFM and DFA, etc.

Requirements:

· Higher NITEC certificate holders with 3 – 8years experience, Diploma Holder from a reputable polytechnic plus 2-5 years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years’ Experience in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering

· Proficient user of Solidworks. (3D and 2D design)

· Knowledge of Orcad or other similar software will be an advantage.

· Possess an eye for details and is meticulous in the work he/she undertakes.

· Experience in Machine Design. (Semiconductor or Solar Equipment Design will be an advantage).

· Familiarity in Design Process (Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design, Design Review, Verification, Validation, etc.) up to production realization, will be an advantage.

· Knowledge of ECO release of Engineering quality documentation.

· Experience in dynamic electromechanical system design

· Experience in high vacuum design and heat transfer will be an advantage.

The person in this role will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the Client's next-generation low-latency execution platform in APAC. The senior engineer will collaborate with a team of developers and work with the product development team, other technology teams, production support, and quality assurance. Close alignment with the global strategy is important for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support of the high-performance electronic execution platform

Requirements:

• Entry level are welcome with 2 years experience in semiconductor tools is plus
• Proficiency in Japanese is essential as need to liaise with Japanese clients
• Hand on in high vacuum equipments, pumps, chillers, and compressors
• Able to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
