Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from conception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
1) Project Planning and Management
i) Acquire project requirements such as human resource, required information, various agreements and material or technology needed
ii) Conduct regular project reviews to recommend schedule changes, cost or resource adjustments
iii) Develop the project plan including detailed activities, resource planning, cost estimation
iv) Drive project discipline to document scope changes, issues and risks that affect implementation
v) Drive project to meet schedules, budget, manpower and technical quality targets
vi) Review project plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects
vii) Work with stakeholders to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables
viii) Work with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation
2) Team Management
i) Define common goals, direction and accountability among staff
ii) Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
iii) Drive effective performance management practices within the department in accordance with organisation policies and procedures
iv) Oversee team management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing
The ideal candidate shall possess the following
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
· At least 5 years of project experience in project management, with a focus on IT or software development projects. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
· Preferably be a Certified IT Project Manager, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Technology Project Manager (CITPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification is desirable
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Familiar with both waterfall and agile software development framework would be advantageous
· Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary shall commensurate with experience and qualification
