Job Overview
Manage the process of designing and launching clinical research studies; manage activities of the Sponsor/Clinical Research Organization (CRO); lead colleagues in the design and organization of project components during Start-Up; develop and maintain best practices within the organization; Accountability and ownership for the quality of all start-up work and sponsor deliverables.

Role Purpose

To be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of designated Fleet of ships, reporting to the Fleet Director.

Role Accountabilities

· Be a visible driving force in promoting safety of crew members and all who may work on designated vessels, from stevedores to contractors, pilots to shipyard workers.

· Ensure that ships always meet statutory, class, flag state and environmental requirements as well as regional requirements where vessels may trade.

· For technical, operational and budgetary control of designated fleet of ships.

· Responsible for Fleet dry-docking.

· Monitor designated Fleet’s planned maintenance, inventory and purchase orders to ensure the Fleet ships are properly maintained and that sufficient spares are carried onboard to deal with planned maintenance and critical machinery breakdowns.

· Keeping the Fleet Director informed of Fleet performance and bringing this attention any areas if of concern within the Fleet.

· Carry out Fleet manager’s ship visits when appropriate, to monitor condition and performance providing advice to the ship manager when required.

· Working with and ensuring the FSSEM is kept fully informed of all shipboard defects and non-conformance matters relating to items of safety, critical equipment, security and pollution prevention.

· Liaising closely with SPSM on crew matters to ensure that appropriate officer and crew skills are deployed for the particular ships in the Fleet.

· Where necessary and in consultation with FSSEM, conduct internal audits of the ship’s safety system to ensure compliance.

· Participate in Safety Management System and Environmental review meetings.

· Dealing with non-conformities covering designated Fleet ships and, liaising with FSSEM to ensure corrective action is applied.

· Liaising with FSSEM and Ship Manager to investigate accident reports, machinery failures and any insurance claims; ensuring that corrective action is applied.

The Position

Regional Consumer Credit Project Management Provide support to the Product Owner (PO) in key regional consumer credit risk management initiatives, such as the CBG Credit project aimed at automating and digitizing the CBG Credit portfolio and collection monitoring and reporting. Maintain a clear vision for the product (or process/system). Collaborate effectively with stakeholders within Regional CBG Credit, RMG units, Technology, and others to develop appropriate product/solution. Assume responsibility for managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Oversee ongoing change management. Be accountable for delivering value from the product. 2. Regional Consumer Credit Systems - Initiatives and Enhancements Lead the strategic alignment and implementation of regional consumer credit and fraud systems in collaboration with other Risk Management Group (RMG) units (under Enterprise Risk Platform) and Technology. Ensure adherence to credit systems project management and financial governance for initiatives and enhancements across the region, working closely with other Credit tribe members. Drive the transformation and automation of manual processes (end-to-end) and other digital enablement tools/projects to enhance efficiency, productivity, and improve customer and employee experiences. Champion the sharing of system-related learnings and best practices across the region to leverage synergistic opportunities. Collaborate with other RMG units, Technology, and CBG Business to drive continuous improvement in the adoption and implementation of consumer credit risk tools. Requirements Degree holder with at least 10 years of Consumer Credit, Collection and/or Fraud systems experience across the region. Preferably possess the following complementary work experience in: Consumer lending digitalisation and automation infrastructure and capabilities Data engineering Agile practices Project management Transformational mindset to challenge, innovate and change the way we work Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills. Checking of submitted documents to ensure completeness and accuracy Responsible for data entry of all UL applications received. Review pending cases and serve as the first contact between sales platform and underwriters Responsible for communicating and explaining on underwriting requirements and decision to FSC/BDMs and Partnership Distribution. Liaise with Agency and Partnership operations, Underwriters, Cashiers, FSCs, Life Operations in terms of underwriting and policy issuance matters. Responsible for issuing medical memo. Case manager to verify the request against system on: per life check, claims history, impairment code and concurrent application. Responsible for coordinating new business processes between Shared Services Office (SSO) and Underwriting and Issue (UNI) on concurrent applications, issuance of policy contract, to retrieve medical reports, arrangement of getting Attending Physician Statement. Ensure all cases have gone through compliance screening (if required) before issuance of policy To process medical reimbursements from sales channels Resolve system issues/exceptional handling and requests received from Distribution channels/IT/Product/Actuarial Assist in resolving policy contract issues on a timely basis Involve in product launches implementation process such as approving of Test plans from Business consulting team; which includes iPOS, iDES and IL system, checking of the testing results from the approved Test plan, participating in the user acceptance test and completing the assigned process according to schedule (if any) To support in ensuring all Case Management related Standard Operating Procedures are up to date.
