Job Objectives

• Bank Technology and Operations (GTO) in Singapore is looking for an experienced Production Support to join its support team
• To provide proactive, timely, effective and efficient support to the business users
• To perform production support activities which involve assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs
• To own issues and projects, and work with the various teams to develop solutions for the users
• To collaborate with business partners, third party vendors, and technology teams to facilitate the support process and work toward timely and effective issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

• The Production Support person is responsible for managing the Enterprise Data Management for Bank’s application including web GUI, SQL database and Tectia SFTP batch scripts.
• Work in the Production support team; Provide front-line support for incoming issues to ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues, queries and projects
• Adopt standard Incident and Problem Management workflow and processes, i.e. timely ticket, defect and incident loggings, proper change management process, and quality issue/impact emails
• Actively manage all incidents and issues to proper closure – escalate issues as appropriate to necessary teams and management
• Analyse, document and track all actions taken throughout the lifecycle of the issue including decisions made, successful and unsuccessful actions taken, and final steps executed for resolution. Evaluate documented resolutions, analyse trends, and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences of similar issues
• Participate and collaborate with the development team in requirements gathering, clarification, and analyse impacts on issue or users requirements
• Assist the application development team as needed by validating fixes or enhancement to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
• Embrace standard Change Control Management practices, procedures and guidelines for application releases
• Engage vendor to provide solutions for the stability and sustainability of the production environment.
• Participate in annual DR/BCM activities or infrastructure related upgrade
• Utilize software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet to aid in problem resolution

Key Requirements

• Knowledge in HIS Markit EDM solution, MS SQL database, Windows/Tectia scripts, control-m job scheduling
• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
• 5-10 years of hands-on application management experience, preferably in the Asset Management business
• Strong skills in Windows batch, Tectia scripting, MS SQL Database, BMC Control-M Scheduler
• Good team player, Independent , proactive and self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good to have:

• Basic understanding of the front to back of Asset Management operations
• Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment, and working knowledge of ITIL principles

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Oracle POS & Material Control (MC) solutions, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Applications, Timesoft HR solution, network infrastructure and other software & solutions deployed and used within the venue/company:

POS System, MC & Peripherals:

• Assist to create POS keys, update price and kitchen/bar settings
• Assist to create new POS users for venue (both front and backend)
• Assist to create MC users for venue
• Troubleshoot POS & printers hardware issues & log tickets for replacements
• Troubleshoot & support Credit Card terminals

PC, laptops, photocopier, networks & WIFI:

• Troubleshoot on all reported issues related to venues’ operation (minor repairs if possible)
• Backup and Reformat/Upgrade System/Software
• Install software for all venue users where required
• Provide and manage 1st and 2nd level trouble-shooting of hardware and software issues raised
• Manage relevant external vendors
• Working days & hours –Tuesday to Saturday from 1pm to 10pm with one hour meal break
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by IT Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or higher qualification holder in relevant field;
• At least 2-4 years' relevant working experience in F&B and hospitality industry;
• Working knowledge of database management system, POS System, F&B inventory solutions, and Windows Server is added advantage;
• Working knowledge of networking & firewall security software is also added advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Responsible individual who is honest, diligent and full of integrity;
• Individual who takes initiatives and can work with minimal supervision;
• Preferably with operational management knowledge in the F&B/ Hospitality industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Medical Engineering Specialist
• Troubleshoot and maintain boiler, sterilizer and washer in the hospital/clinics as well as carry out installation work on infection control equipment.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance according to schedule with clear time planning and by making appointments with specific customers.
• Planning and balancing the efficacy and productivity by meeting organization goal to turnaround within 72 hours excluding weekends and public holidays.
• Maintaining proper records of equipment history by customer and department both at site and regularly update SOM to ensure real time data.
• Prepare job sheets, seek customers approval/confirmation, co-ordinate with SOM to invoice with correct spare parts.
• Co-ordinate with SOM to prepare quotations for the right decision maker and track.
• Ensure timely job sheet closure to speed up billing processes to reduce AR & Inventory holding.
• Familiarize with the ISO procedure & always operate within the guidelines.
• Familiarize with all risk management processes and ensure compliance at site.
• Do it right first time and be aligned to aim for zero complaints.
• Plan & Co-ordinate with customer/end user to reduce time & resource wastage.
• Prepare and decide all quotation & track for official purchase orders for breakdown repairs.
• Drive & comply to organization objective and always respond within 10 hours at site during office hours.
• Always communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Create competitive advantage by adding value to the organization though building strong relationship with biomedical engineers in key accounts.
• Attend alltraining or re-training identified and contributes to continual improvement by giving constructive feedback to manu facturer.
• Share & where applicable, conduct cross training internally to increase competency of other engineers and also organize & provide training for biomedical engineering departments.
• Gain & gather information in the field & make informed recommendation(s) to service manager & participate in the drive for sharing of best practices based on customers feedback and personal experiences.

Work Experience & Qualification

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Biomedical / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in hospital environment or engineering consultancy firm.
• Strong engineering and IT knowledge
• Possess own transport (Preferably)
• Able to travel outstation or overseas when required.
