About the Role

The Manager (IT & Technology) - POS plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of POS systems in various retail and business environments. The Manager (IT & Technology) – POS should have a strong technical background, knowledge of relevant hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with end-users and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Point of Sale responsibilities:

• Set up and configure POS software according to the specific needs and requirements of the business.
• Perform routine maintenance on POS systems to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
• Train end-users and staff on POS system usage and best practices – ensuring end-users follow all SOPs implemented.

2. ERP responsibilities:

• Developing and configuring customized ERP solutions based on best practices.

• Keeping informed of the latest ERP developments, upgrades, and offerings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Possesses technical knowledge in SQL management (SQL Query), relevant knowledge in ERP and POS systems, and integrations.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in IT management, preferably in a similar industry/sector.
• Experience in supporting F&B and retail POS and working in a multi-vendor environment would be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven and proactive in project implementation, issues handling, and system improvement.
